It was the valves. I checked them and they were to specs. So I started using a thinner oil and that did the trick. I was then using 20W-50, I now use 10-40 and it's made a big difference

In my case Yep. Just oil did the trick. It will still make that sound but for like 30 secs or sothen the bike quiets down.

I installed a piece of rubber hose over the end of the automatic adjuster arm to gain more room for the tensioner to travel before coming to its end .

Sound's coming from the lower left hand side of the bike. It's a high pitched hum.

Might be the valve from the scondary air supply that failed.

That sounds like my friend's. He runs 10w-40, but still sounds like yours. You sure it's just oil?

    Hi Rony,
I have M50, 2010, 7,000 km and the same sound from the rear cylinder. After warming up the engine sound is normal.
Did you find out what is causing the sound?
    Thank You Oldrich

if it's just 1 cylinder, then it may be your valves. If they are to spec, and you're using oil grade thicker than 10-40, then it can be oil. But in your case it sounds like you need to tune up that cylinder...
