- GoPro footage of my jump from C-47 "That's All Brother"; the lead aircraft in the airborne invasion of Europe 80 years ago.
This jump was on June 9th, 2024 into La Fiere Causeway, just outside of Ste Mere Eglise.
The entire trip was an extremely humbling and memorable experience for myself, as well as many other veterans and active duty personnel that were in attendance for this momentous anniversary.
To be able to jump from the exact same aircraft that those brave young men did all those many years ago is an experience that will not soon be forgotten.

Love it dude! Must have been one hell of an experience. God bless our vets!
To say it was a humbling experience would an understatement. I can’t express how fortunate I am to be afforded that opportunity.
Great video!
Incredible footage. Thanks for sharing!
best part of this jump is that i was getting my master wings at the Iron Mike memorial shortly after my speech yall dropped into Iron Mike DZ which made it even more memorable.
Superb ! Thanks for the clip !
Amazing video, thank you for keeping ww2 history alive.
It's the least I can do to pay homage to The Greatest Generation.
Great video! Now do Iwo Jima!
Cool
You’re finally awake..
Imagine other dakotas ripping right by you. Along with flack exploding everywhere, clouds everywhere, and just overall chaos.
Jesus Christmas.
Hard to even contemplate what those young men went through on that fateful night 80 years ago.
4:52 so saving private ryan.. And that was actually a fictional movie. That and band of brothers broke ww2
what are you even saying
Добрый вечер! Почему так много закручивает купол?
Poor exit from the aircraft on my part, causing the risers to twist . I just need to jump more and work on my exits from the plane!

Pitch black, incoming AA, MG tracers and rifle fire. You hit the deck in one piece, but you've landed in shrubbery 3ft high. You start to pull the rope to your leg bag. That's strange, its got too much slack, the leg bags gone. You hear movement in the bushes around you. German? Friendly? Who knows gotta get this harness off. Now you've got no weapon, maybe a knife if your lucky, you're trying to get your rig off and can barely see your hand in front of your face. Before you even see him another paratrooper is speaking softly in your direction and he's on you. He helps you get squared away and orient yourself. You're nowhere near your objective, you dont know where you are but you hear german MGs and patrols all around you.
Well i guess you start the war from here. A search for weapons, equipment bundles and friendlies ensues until the morning. Constant deliberation between your guys about the bump in the night. Friendly, enemy, civilian? Is this the main road we studied on the sand tables ? Is this the correct telephone line that skirts St Mere Eglise? I think so lets keep moving
Man what a way to finally get in it.
Still in high Spirits Freedonnus not free you work for it Congratulations Veterans and Thank you 💂♀️🌟🌟🌟🌟🌎🌍🌏🫶🇺🇸🎢
