‘Very strange’: Douglas Murray criticises Joe Biden’s backtrack on Israel

- Author Douglas Murray has criticised President Joe Biden’s “very strange” move to tell Israel the US would not provide weapons for a Rafah offensive.
US President Joe Biden has urged Israel not to go ahead with such an operation over fears it would exacerbate the humanitarian catastrophe in the Palestinian enclave.
Last week, Biden said the United States would not provide offensive weapons for a Rafah invasion, raising pressure on Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
“It’s very strange,” Mr Murray told Sky News host Rita Panahi.
“The best interpretation of it is that for some time … the president has talked a bit of one talk and acted in another way.
“For those of us who want Israel to win in Gaza … sometimes the rhetoric has been unpleasant, but the actions have been supportive.”

Hello from Austria. The problem is that there is (here) one party (the Austrian Freedom Party, the FPÖ, referred to by the MSM as "extreme Right" - of course) which is clearly against illegal migration and is in fact leading all polls (30% of all votes) but is circumvented by all the other parties, so that even if it does get a third of all votes in the coming elections, it will not be able to form a coalition. So again the issue is the remaining 66%-70% of the sheep who'd vote for the WEF parties, even though they know we have a problem. The same applies elsewhere. It's the frog in a bucket conundrum I'm afraid, and there's a race going on about who will be first, frog or WEF.
Here in Australia we need to get rid of preference voting in Parliament House as preferences voting only goes to Labor or Liberal no other party can win and they are both the same UNLESS

Democracy never works perfectly, especially when it's a parliamentary democracy like in most European countries.
The problem is, that the delusional left has taken over in many places. They are part of the governments plus they occupy many editorial offices in print and TV media. That is why the left narrative became so dominant. Which doesn't necessarily mirrors the opinion of the vast majority of people.
However this whole woke ideology is increasing and mostly young people at University campuses are impressed by these ideas. Probably because they don't have to deal with real life problems so much. I still think, that there are a lot of reasonable people, they are just quiet.
