This is a great commentary team. Kevin Harlan has a great voice and excitement, he let's the experts break down the fight and Paulie and Virgil do a great job actually analyzing the fight, offering insight to casual fans. The hardcore fans and fighters can appreciate the commentary as well.
You dont wanna be on the receiving end. One thing I like is that he doesn't humiliate his opponents. He respects them altough he,s way stronger. Great guy.
You can have all the defensive skills in the world, but if the juggernaut in front of you is using hydraulic rams to hit you with, you're on a hiding to nothing. It's like fighting a Caterpillar excavator.

What problem? All they had to do was wait for him to get old before fighting him, and it won't be a problem anymore. They have already done that. That mission has already been accomplished. Beterbiev's talent, of which I agree was spectacular in terms of the hand speed and power combination, never had an opportunity to shine at the top level during his prime, similar to GGG, and now it's never going to because I can already see him declining, the snap is coming off his punches with age the same way it did with GGG. He should have come to the US much earlier and made sure to get big fights while he was still at his peak. Punchers already struggle vs boxers, now that the snap is coming off his punches, he will definitely be at risk for that to happen once he fights a top boxer.

Stevenson is dangerous with that left hand, but he is basically a one punch fighter. I don't think he could handle Kovalev being that limited.
Adonis was lucky to face Gvozdyk. If he faced Beterbiev he might never have recovered from his coma.

Beterbiev is the best puncher in the world. Yes better than both Golovkin and Kovalev. Better hand speed, more explosive and better in fighter. Golovkin throws large and slow but precise and well timed. Artur is just as accurate and powerfull but faster and more explosive
Finally, someone who noticed the same things as me...I'm from Montreal and fans here are not sure about Beterbiev's skills. For me, it's obvious and you made a clear description of why he is much better than the others...

The pre-Mayweather vs Pacquiao interview with Mayweather was revealing. Mayweather said he never wanted to win a fight so much in his life, and it showed. Floyd wasn't at his best during the fight, & it seems like he wanted to win it a little too badly, but he achieved his goal - won the fight, and at the end of the day, that's all that counts. Teddy Atlas used to say that if you fought a counter punching fight, & gave Floyd nothing to counter, he (Floyd) was beatable. But have a look at what happened in the actual fight. Pacquiao spent the entire second half of the fight waiting for counter punching opportunities that had never materialized. Too many opponents end up fighting Floyd's fight, but Floyd has been doing this type of style all his life, & is very comfortable with it. Floyd is a master of making adjustments during a fight, & of making his opponents fight his fight. so give him credit. Pacquiao would have been better off sticking to his own style. It got him this far, so why change it now in the biggest fight of your life? The only other reason for it, that I can think of, is the Marquez KO of Pacquiao damaged Pacquiao's confidence more than we realized, & he was reluctant to take that extra step forward to put himself in range & unleash his combinations.

Мужики ,только что посмотрел Бетербиева и Стивенсона . Ну с БТРом все ясно ) а вот бой Стивенсона навёл на одну мысль. Если вдруг Уайлдер заценит манеру боя Стивенсона и вдруг каким-то чудом хотя бы 30 % техники и тактики возьмёт, то он Фьюри просто в одну калитку вынесит если случится третий бой . Но это так ,мало вероятный сценарий. Уайлдер по боксу дно увы.
I feel like Artur has never really shown his full power. Virtually all his wins before this point were TKO's, not out-cold KO's. Throughout his fights, he throws thudding punches that just radiate throughout your entire body that you feel every part of, and it just cripples you. His punches have never appeared to have been capable of knocking people out cold until now. I feel like he's holding back a lot of the time, so I can just imagine what his full power can do.

Notice that Stevenson's handlers carefully avoid tough competition, like Beterbiev and Kovalev.
The only really tough fighter Chickenson has fought has been Fanfara and he was knocked down and almost out by him.

It is not hard to understand why Stevenson is avoiding Kovalev. He is a very limited and predictable fighter with only one weapon, that left hand which you can see coming and his setup for it is also easy to figure out. Kovalev will destroy him - if he gets the chance, that is.
