@@HoustonWindowExperts But if the curtains are on the inside of the house it will still allow the radiant energy to enter and some of it will stay. We are in Memphis and got some outdoor smart blinds. Very nice.
@@MichaelMantion outdoor smart blinds? Could you tell me about how much they cost you? our house faces east and have HUGE windows that allow heat to get in. We've installed window tint, but still, heat gets in as it's only 72% heat control.
It sounds like what you actually need is a high-quality double pane window. They will block nearly all of the heat from coming through without reducing the amount of light that comes into the home.
