Just use the rx7 for casual drifting, z4 for handbrake tapping
You made drifting so much more fun with these options and after using the rx7 and skyline, my new favourite is the Ferrari 458 speciale (wouldn't have know without this video).

I would recommend the Mazda drift car for beginning because it is so much smoother than the r34

Original Crew game: Lotus Exige S, The Crew 2: The Lotus Exige S and yes its SR not Drift i am aware, but i do not use it for events because of that...i use it for cruise drifting. ofc, i had to tweak the settings otherwise it wouldn't drift well or not a tall and even though its not as smooth as the drifting it can do in the OG crew game its more than passable for my enjoyment.

Don’t ask me why but I love the Agera R. I know it’s a hypercar, but I can drift pretty well in it.

My go-to drift car is thr Chevrolet Corvette bur the Lamborghini Aventador, Mazda RX-7 amd BMW are also my go-tos. Gotta get used to the Handbrake Z4

I'm a dude where I don't upgrade cars and just try to have fun so when I unlocked drift cats I bought the red rx7 drift
same honestly!! I much prefer the stock cars cruising!!
For me the McLaren 12C is the one I love the most but the reason for that is for one I have very unorthodox settings they were given to me by a friend actually dress and it's made specifically to do in Manuel and it's not for everyone in most people can't handle it they don't try really hard to everyone that I've given no settings to at the 12C is pretty much became their favorite drift car ever since then but like I said very unorthodox settings but if you want to settings to try let me know

Ngl, I might the the first and Only person to say this, but I think Drifting in BeamNG is easier than in The Crew 2
Personally, I have favored the Skyline first, then the DeLorean, but just bought the most expensive Agera... but I just... haven't found my bread and butter quite yet.
I found a lot of the events are just soooooo annoyingly narrow, like a hair too narrow where chaining feels near impossible.
We'll get there. Just need to find the right speed, body, and swing.
I recommend the rx7, it's cheap and takes curves like an absolute god
i personally love the 370z nismo
has like 1000bhp and handles amazingly

I prefer the Evo for drifting casually, but mostly use the rx7
YO WAJ, I would have to disagree with you on the Lancer Evo being the worst... I personally think it's one of better drift cars. I have gotten 7-750 k points without spamming the "cheese brake" method.

Most people I know always go for the RX-7 for Drifting, now me I'm a huge fan of the Nissan Skyline, It's my Personal Choice for a Drift Car, for me it just looks more beautiful than the RX-7, so, in other words the RX-7 performs better, but the Skyline looks better 👍🏻
Ok one thing I've notice is if you turn off drift assist on street car you actually have to counter steer
Turn off traction control and voila an actual drift car that you have to counter steer...ON THE CREW 2!!!
(note: steering wheel not recommend)

delorean (best?)
Camaro SS bend edition (the normal one works too but it always over shoot somehow)
Porche cayman
Nissan R34 (RWD)
nissan 370z normal & nismo
Nissan 400ZX (best?)
Delorean and 400ZX is the ones the felt really good to me so I can't decide wich is the best
Those are so far the cars that I've used and think is recommended if you wanna try
