Mine failed after 2 years of use. When I tried to get them repaired in an Apple Store I was told “they are not expected to last longer than 3 years”. It was so matter of factly that I was gobsmacked. When I tried to get someone more senior from apple to confirm this I was fobbed off with a replacement pair or half price off a new pair. Truly remarkable
A replacement pair would be free so what’s the issue?
