I have to say, I love when people vlog the mundane boring stuff! I don’t get out super often because of my disability so I try to save the going out energy for fun things but that does mean that I end up missing 'normal, boring life'. Watching it on a screen from bed isn't the same obviously but it's kind of like going myself 😂
I came here to say the exact same thing! I am also disabled and I also love watching "boring everyday vlogs" for the same reason. Exciting vlogs can be fun too but it's the everyday life vlogs that just make my day. Also, the ones where it's just random footage and some interesting thoughts, like Carrie's "Dear Autumn" series that always makes me feel better when I'm having a rough day.
There is something really comforting about your corner of the internet. You make me smile and believe everything is going to be okay, even when talking about the serious stuff
I know that crying in the theatre feeling when you can't help sob but try do it quietly to not disturb people - it happened to me during Hamilton in "It's Quiet Uptown"! Hope panto rehearsals go well. 🎄🎭

I have to agree about bawling when you hear a particular person sing a certain song. When you were on tour in Nottingham and you sang "I Say No" I started SOBBING, some lovely person next to me had to ask if I was okay during the interval. Music is just such a wonderful thing, even IF it makes us ugly cry in public.

I’ve really missed these videos!! 2 weeks today until my first Panto this Christmas and I cannot wait to see you and Scott again, it’s felt like for forever. I’m taking my niece to see you for her 4th birthday! Everything’s ‘Cawrie’ at the moment. But TOUR, oh my god. You know what we need, when we need it. Proud doesn’t even cover it AND I’ve managed to secure front row tickets for the PALLADIUM?!?
Oh I will always have fond memories of Elf the Musical. I saw it in 2017 and that was the first time I saw who would become one of my favorite musical theater actresses, Samantha Pauly, as Jovie. Got to Never Fall In Love and she sang the final bit without breathing and that was that 😂 flash forward to 2019 and I went to see Six to see her perform and fell in love with an entire show! Cannot wait for Love Letters! Long time to wait but thankfully it mean I don’t have to rely on luck to see if my job will have my in the states or in Britain at the time!
I never got to see the last tour so I am very excited for this one!!! Also Edgar looks like such a lovely cat and he definitely knows hes about to become an older brother 😂
As for me, my chorus is in concert week for our holiday show, so festive but stressed (stresstive ?) is my current status. But I am excited for our next show already, because it’s all musical theater and Jennifer friggin Holliday is our guest artist. I already know that my small ensemble is doing What I Did For Love, and the opening to City of Angels, but I’m gunning for the opening solo: ROAD TO HELL from Hadestown.
Can't wait for the tour. Managed to get my VIP tickets for York (after all the fuss) whilst on a train to London 😂. Really looking forward to it. Missed the vlogs so much.
I remember when you decided to embark on your first tour and how uncomfortable and nervous you were with that idea. And now, here you are, having grown and matured in a million beautiful ways, bringing us not only your second tour, but now a third one! I saw Cinderella on closing night with my cousin i fell in love with the show and wanted to go back so badly and was very upset when i realised it was closing. Two weeks ago i went to see you in the panto and i loved every second of it. Thank you for helping me fall in love with theatre (also ive read tour book into the spotlight so many times its my fav) I should also add that I am 13 and have seen multiple shows of yours My cousin also saw you in the middle of the tube station and asked for a selfie I was so jealous when I found out
oh gosh.. it’s definitely cold season, I’m with you on that - I had a cold two weeks ago and I’ve just caught another one. I’m helping out with backstage tech for our school panto this year, so feeling very christmassy. It’s a sort of tradition for us to go and see the panto at our local theatre every december - I actually did my first ever audition for the panto this year way back in May. Didn’t get in unfortunately but I was put on their reserves list for the young cast and I’ve never been prouder. I’ve just bought a ticket for your tour as well! It’ll be my first ever solo theatre trip and it just so happens that I will have not long started university. I’ll be properly terrified but it’ll definitely be worth it - last night of the tour as well! It’s a shame, the meet & greet was sold out, but my bank account is probably thankful for that 😂 Can’t wait to finally see you live, I’ve been following for a few years now and ‘hopeful’ has become such an important thing to me, so thank you for that 💕. @@Carrie Yeah unfortunately Covid is still making the rounds and I've been seeing lots of folks come down with it lately :( Plus, previous Covid infections tend to weaken our immune systems and make us more susceptible to catching other bugs/unable to clear them as quickly as we used to. Wearing high quality respirator masks (especially in indoor spaces with poor ventilation and/or on public transit) definitely helps keep you from getting sick and helps prevent you from spreading whatever you've got to others!

Oop i did not realise couldnt use many products while pregnant. Was only aware of no retinol. Ah well i only use like 3 products anyhow and im sure theyre fine :-P
With regards to the nearly passing out, please ask your midwife to get your iron levels checked! I thought for the longest time I was just tired because I was pregnant, turns out I was anaemic and needed an iron infusion!!
I only found out because Skin+Me has a thing where you can change your pregnancy/nursing status and it means they adjust the ingredients to your product and take out anything potentially harmful. I don’t think there’s enough research on it to rule in/out every ingredients so i think it’s all very much a “just in case” and down to the individual to decide what their skin needs and what they’re comfortable using! ♥️

@@Carrie Yeah unfortunately Covid is still making the rounds and I've been seeing lots of folks come down with it lately :( Plus, previous Covid infections tend to weaken our immune systems and make us more susceptible to catching other bugs/unable to clear them as quickly as we used to. Wearing high quality respirator masks (especially in indoor spaces with poor ventilation and/or on public transit) definitely helps keep you from getting sick and helps prevent you from spreading whatever you've got to others!

Oop i did not realise couldnt use many products while pregnant. Was only aware of no retinol. Ah well i only use like 3 products anyhow and im sure theyre fine :-P
With regards to the nearly passing out, please ask your midwife to get your iron levels checked! I thought for the longest time I was just tired because I was pregnant, turns out I was anaemic and needed an iron infusion!!
All been checked and all normal! ♥️

I didn’t realise about the skin care thing in pregnancy and now I feel bad, I don’t use any strong skin care products though so hopefully it’s ok 🤞🏻🤞🏻
I had no idea either. Like no one, not even my midwife, had mentioned anything
I only found out because Skin+Me has a thing where you can change your pregnancy/nursing status and it means they adjust the ingredients to your product and take out anything potentially harmful. I don’t think there’s enough research on it to rule in/out every ingredients so i think it’s all very much a “just in case” and down to the individual to decide what their skin needs and what they’re comfortable using! ♥️
