- Acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) is also called acute lymphocytic leukemia. “Acute” means that the leukemia can progress quickly, and if not treated, would probably be fatal within a few months.
"Lymphocytic" are early (immature) forms of lymphocytes, a type of white blood cell.
• Leukemia may affect red blood cells, white blood cells, and platelets.
• Past treatment for cancer and certain genetic conditions affect the risk of having childhood ALL.
• Signs of childhood ALL include fever and bruising.
• Tests that examine the blood and bone marrow are used to detect (find) and diagnose childhood ALL.
• Certain factors affect prognosis (chance of recovery) and treatment options.

Sir thanks....my 3 years baby got fracture in his arm .. doctor operated k-wires ..and so many x-ray were done to check proper position of arm...after 5 months of this incidents my kid suffered from severe fever..we go to doctor . and doctor took his CBC TEST. My kid was detected with leukemia ALL......MY KID WAS very healthy and active before fractured...we come to conclude that x -ray radiations put my child into this condition
