I didn’t get the job at Walmart because of my past criminal history post orientation

- I did the application online they called me I came in I thought I had the job they called me back for another interview which was incorrect they did my background search off of looking at case search as soon allegedly then I got pretty much kicked to the curb and I thought Walmart didn’t discriminate people with records especially with misdemeanors and felonies I haven’t had a job in eight years and this really hit me in the heart I really wanted that job thanks Walmart

Bruh, that’s messed up. I’ve seen people saying they got like criminal backgrounds and either got in or no. Recently saw one dude online saying he got a felony and misdemeanor 17-18 years ago and got in, saying to be honest. But man, what you did is not like you hurt nobody, just weed from a long time ago and still turn you down? Sorry man.
That's really messed up. There are a lot of people committing worse actions. You just wanted to better yourself and stack some bread. When you are a felon becoming a truck driver is bank.
If you haven't had a Conviction or Charge in 7 to 10 years. It shouldn't be a problem. If you hiring a truckdriver, then your hiring a driver. If you , or anybody steals, your ass go to jail. And you fuck with that freight, you might go to the feds for Cargo Jacking. So, they should give you a chance. Most people make it to Walmart not trying to fuck up no more anyway. People always trying to think they better than. The Bible says, That ALL have sinned, and come short of the glory of GOD.

Hey bro same thing happened to me. I applied for Wal-Mart distribution center, went to the interview landed the job & did the drug test & background check. The question if I ever been convicted came up & I honestly was confused because I thought it mean felonies. I have a misdemeanor from years ago & they asked me to do assessment regarding it & I explained it thoroughly. They denied my job offer because they stated it wasn't the misdemeanor itself, it was the answers I gave regarding it??like wtf I answered it truthfully to the best of my ability & they denied me?smh screw them, Wal-Mart is the worst application experience I ever went thru just a complete waste of time!

Also apply with multiple job agencies that’s the best route to go! It’s going to be okay just stay out of trouble no matter what! Go to a jr college get a trade like truck driving or barber school
Iam doin much better since the video found plenty of jobs but I’ve been at this last job longer then any other jobs I had lol but just blessed that someone Gave me an opportunity

I'm in the same situation I got a misdemeanor of possession of marijuana with intent to sell. They asked for more information so I hope I pass the background check.
Also you only look 25 so 10 years ago you just 15. They can't check your juvenile record lol
Once the background check came back after about 21 days they called me a few days later went in for orientation been there almost a month now
I havent done anything im just waiting on the background check… how long does it usually take?

I have been convicted of possesion 8 years ago and i got a pending felony agg assault with deadly weapon its from last year and i havent been convicted should i be good to be hired at Wal-Mart

In my opinionIs a terrible job to work for Walmart have no respect for coworkers I have been yelled that embarrass them coworkers and these people if they don’t like you they will start a problem with you at my location everybody was quitting Walmart everybody was quitting this job and I only quit three weeks of my job because it’s a terrible job the coworker close they will start beef with you with no reason if you do a mistake there was three Matthew well if I were you don’t get this job at a terrible job and it’s a stressful job my last paycheck was $589

I don't understand why you thought that Walmart hired felons? It says right on Google that they don't hire felons if the felony was in the past five years. And it doesn't matter how long it's been for some felonies. If I were you I would just go to Landscaping lawn mowing or Roofing place and get to work brother.
Because most prisons will give you a list of companies that hire felons when your about to leave, and Walmart is on the list.

@jonhanson6128 yep same here. One misdemeanor popped up on my background check from years ago. I did the assessment to explain it etc & they turned me down smh they said it wasn't the miserable charge, it was the answers I gave regarding it smh makes no sense whatsoever at all!
