As a prospective clinical psychologist who hasn't yet received formal training on the day-to-day responsibilities of private practice, but who still wants to get a clearer idea for how everything works and how to do things right, this is incredibly helpful! Hi Marie, thank you for sharing your process. I've had to really navigate this with old school therapist (No website, hardcopy paperwork). In watching this video, I decided I am going to incorporate the appointment confirmation email; as I've noticed client's or I forgot some key information for the first session. Great video! Do you have a video on how and when exactly to take client card payment if doing teletherapy online? I currently use simple practice and just starting out so I'm nervous about how to time when to ask for payment. Do you take at the end or beginning of session? What phrasing do you use? Thank you
