- In todays video I have attempted to cover almost all of the Canon Batman universe Timeline. Im hoping this video is easy to follow and covers all of the key points with in the Bat world.

Excellent breakdown. Batman actually achieved a lot in his canon continuity. Gotham for sure has to be one of the safest places on earth now with all of his side kicks, teams, and bat family on patrol 24/7

I love Batman. He’s my absolute favorite fictional character. Having said that, I’d throw out about 90% of his “official” timeline. All this “alternate universe” and “being resurrected from the dead” really lessens a character that thrives in a grounded, plausible world.

Yeah but it's not Batman fault, he exists in a fanatical world and this is subject to it. Earth 2 Batman (the original Batman) more or less had what you prefer.

Hey there Batcave just wanted to say that this was absolutely an amazing video that really dives deep into the whole timeline for Batman.
The information from an official DC source was really entertaining and the way that you delivered it was wonderful. If you are interested in doing another video like this, I would definitely like to see one that deals with The Penguin, just because his family was one of the richest families in Gotham or maybe even doing on your favorite bat family member.

Batman and Robin reborn is one of my favorite comic books of all time. The art style is so beautiful.
It's crazy to me that Jason came back as Red Hood in the under red hood story in 2006 February to May and Damien wayne was introduced in September 2006. Batman fans that year had it crazy
I'd like to see an abridged reading order. Like which collections to pick up that highlights Batman's life.

I’m getting tired of the ultra-armored look Batman keeps sporting. It’s getting ridiculous looking. He’s a stealthy ninja, a silent warrior, but the way artists keep giving him all this bulky armor, he ceases being a stealthy 🥷 and just becomes Iron Man Lite.

True but if he runs around in spandex he's more susceptible to injuries like being stabbed
@@zillyzynn it doesn’t matter though, because Batman has survived getting stabbed & getting shot a lot, also it doesn’t matter if his spandex suit gets damaged because he’s a billionaire, he can literally get a new one or have Alfred fix it up for him.

I have over 100 Gigabytes of Batman issues where I organized (selected) Golden Age, pre-Crisis, and post Crisis Batman stories organized into a coherent timeline with Batman Beyond as the ending. I had to omit a lot of the goofier stories from the Silver Age where he's the guest of honor at parades, making TV appearances or fighting aliens. I also had to omit blatantly contradictory stories like the origins of Jason Jay Todd and Jason Peter Todd or redundant stories (live the multiple origins of the bat signal). It's been fun to create this head canon. However, once you get to the New 52 and beyond, it is almost impossible to make a timeline that makes any sense, because they go out of their way to contradict so much of what happened before.
Batman is one of the greatest heroes to date.
But it's so crazy how much goes on in his universe lol

Batman meeting Superman before his first Robin and Batgirl? I highly doubt that.
Having corrupt cops and mobs makes the most sense as his first quest against crime. I would also have Deadshot be his first super criminal because Deadshot physically embodies Bruce's turn in life. The reason his parents are dead, the reason he doesn't use guns all being used by a guy who wants a cheap paycheck.
I think Joker should be his third big Rogues villain, second should be Penguin. Copplepot usually has ties with the Waynes as rivals and thinks the Waynes ruined his family's standing so see's Bruce as a threat. Joker would start a gang war with him as someone who wants to play king of the mountain with Gotham.
After this, Bruce meets Superman for the first time. They do a World's Finest team up with Joker and Metallo being the villains. Metallo having upgrades and Kryptonite based lasers. Batman finds out that Metallo has alien technology built into his body and Superman thinks it's Brainiac.
After this Superman intrudes Batman to the Justice league, they would already exsist in this timeline. Brainiac would be the first big enemy the League faces.
Batman not a founding leader of the justice league? I highly doubt it.
I feel like Penguin is a perfect first "Super" villain. Doesn't have powers but hes just the leader of a Criminal Organization. Plaguing gotham

It's not that complicated.
Dick Grayson was the first Robin, he outgrew the mantle and became Nightwing.
Jason Todd became the 2nd Robin. He was killed by Joker, he is resurrected by the Lazarus Pit and becomes Red Hood.
Tim Drake becomes the third Robin, and later becomes Red Robin and does his own thing.
Damian Wayne is the 4th Robin .
