This is such a heart warming story. My friend from Vietnam who was chinese also landed in HK ( she was a seamstress ) and finally to LA in the late seventies.

Wow, that’s so cool🥹. I feel like we need to highlight stories like these more often. The immigrant mentality is truly unmatched. I believe they are one of the hardest working people we have here in the states. 🥹 They have a very different perspective on materialistic things. & most likely very humble based upon their childhood
