    If I was the trash truck driver. I would have left that trash full and let the company know that could not pick trash because it unsafe to do without causing damage to someone property.

      You could get out of the truck and move the bin to the arm and put it back when you’re done emptying it.

      Seriously these people going to complain, when they can't take pride in their own property. They should be grateful their can got picked up.

    Why would she leave that trailer in front on garbage day? Inconsiderate imo.

    If she’d move that trailer out of the way, maybe they’d be able to get to her trash can. Better yet, put the trash can where the trailer is parked.

      Absolutely. I was thinking the same thing. She's culpable for not moving that trailer.

    Nope...the home owner is at fault for having that damn trailer in the way! Had it not been in the way the driver could get at the proper angle needed to do his job. 🤦😩 He's better than me...I'd left that damn trash bin full!

    Why are there still Christmas lights up, my HOA would have fined me multiple times for this. They also should not have parked the trailer in the way of the garbage truck and the garbage truck should noth ave attempted to get the trash. No good deed goes unpunished.

    Kind of looks like my inconsiderate neighbors that put their overloaded cans in the most difficult position for the workers to get to. Give these guys a break they are out there doing the job you don't want to do. This worker was not thinking about keeping his job though. He maybe should have hopped out and moved the can...or just left it full for these folks to get right.

    One the trailer was parked in an inconvenient place and 2 the trash was placed at an inconvenient place.
    Also the truck should have passed it up. If you can't get to it's the home owners fault.

    To be fair; there were several obstacles in the way. That trailer should not be there.

    The least the owner could have done was move the can to an easier spot for the driver to grab it,or the driver could have gotten out of the truck and moved the bin close to the arm

    What a complete Karen and I sure hope Houston reimburses her nothing. Its here fault. The rules say you must have your carts out in a location where the collections vehicles can safely service your carts. That’s is not a safe place for service. I recommend you not leave your trailer out in the street like that too, that’s why your driveway is there. Next time put it in an area with enough clearance for the truck.

    ? How do you know it's a woman's? This trash collector should get a raise cause I wouldn't have picked up either one of their cans on that turnaround

    How's the garbage truck supposed to get the can when they park a trailer in the street so he can't get close to it. This is on the homeowners, they created problem, but the driver should have just not picked it up,

    Big deal. But really, all he had to do was get out and move the can to where the claw could grab it. Versus doing all of that unnecessary repositioning.

    • @mrandresfloresable
      @mrandresfloresable Před rokem +2

      Yeah, so why have an automatic truck that is meant to do that. 🤦

    • @TheFrenchPug
      @TheFrenchPug Před rokem +2

      @Dre Flores It's meant for having no stupid obstacles or angles in your way to deal with. Our trash guy gets out and moves cans because his truck doesn't fit right and reach good enough in certain spots.

      May be a liability issue, and they are not allowed to leave the cab while on route.
      And if that is the reason, that'd be the next clickbait article title. "Sanitation worker fired for doing their job."

  • @MelissaBrownRowell
    @MelissaBrownRowell Před rokem +4

    First off, no one asked the garbage truck to drive into the yard to get the trash. It wasn't homeowners fault and CoH shouldn't have turned her water off and sent her the bill. Bill belongs to the trash service company. And nice try garbage truck driver, but you should have just left the trash alone and not attempted pick up since street was cluttered and can was in a bad spot.

  • @melissacalkins8791
    @melissacalkins8791 Před rokem +1

    The driver should have gotten out, once he knew his arm could not extend that far to grab onto the tote. He also did not use his horn and give his truck a moment before he Bagan backing up at all in the video. Overall this driver should have gotten out and pulled the tote to were he could have serviced the tote. He/she was lazy.

    • @kyleshubert2863
      @kyleshubert2863 Před rokem +1

      That takes time the driver does not really have. If they need to get out and move multiple cans per route, then they would not get nearly as much done.
      The homeowner needs to make sure the can is in easy reach with nothing in the way. Homeowner's at fault for awful positing, but I guess the driver is at fault for any damage (or the city). The driver tried his best and should have just left it full.

  • @rodolforamos7302

      how about the homeowner move the can to a better position or move the trailer and not be lazy? Our trash truck driver will honk 3x before moving on if our cans are too close together. This guy must of been new.
