We have a family channel called Family By Nature where we documented our journey from the UK to Ghana almost 3 years ago as a family of eight and living in Ghana. I teach digital marketing and online business opportunities on this channel as well. I’ve just started my own channel, Douglas Nimoh, which focuses on Personal Development & Motivation.
The mindset that I have is what this man has outpoured here. I’ve always said, that the developing continent; Africa is the future. You can travel, fine, but please remember there’s money in the bush(Ghana). My dad has lived in abroad for 33 years as well. He traveled to so many countries, the only continent he’s not been there is Australia. He really has experience. And he always advises me to tap into the numerous opportunities in this country as a developing country. Let me reiterate, there’s money in the bush.
I left Ghana when I was 20years old, I’m now 45years. I m yet to come home. I have adapted my life over. But what the man is saying is the truth. Most Africans don’t know the challenges Africans face here.

Part of the issue is that the internet is so expensive in Ghana . It’s not stable and the service providers are taking undue advantage of the citizens. There has to be a conscious effort to make the internet available, accessible and affordable to all. This will drive innovation
You can make it in Ghana. The problem of staying outside is that, at a point it will become difficult for you to move back if you don’t have substantial investment to fall back on. Your children at not a guaranteed either, you’ve to have your own source of investment
Funny story. When we got to California in 1999, nobody told us that the buses stop working at 4pm on wk end. I stood at the bus stop for 2 hours and I was like was going? I asked someone who passing by that what time does the bus comes and he told that they closed at 4pm on the wk end. I didn’t have enough money to catch a taxi so I end up walking 2 hours home. Travelers got stories to tell.
Bro bbc did a documentary on care homes story in Accra/Ghana,but in future it will spread all over and remember your generation and it comes with development if 24/7 hit somebody have to take of are sweet Parents. We should all remember all Europe was like Africa.my 50+ yrs in Europe care home become Popular with iron Lady government in England
