I'll tell you. You know that trundle ult, not only deals a chunk of target's %HP, half of it's damage instantly, then the other half of it over 4 seconds (and heals this same amount), but it also "steals/drains" the target's "CURRENT" Armor and Magic Resistance, for 4 seconds.
Rammus armor turned negative because trundle's "drain" was cast right when rammus was under effect of it's own stacked armor bonuses from active statbuffs (rammus "W skill" + Aftershock rune) which sharply increased both his armor and MR. Once the rammus statbuff abilities wore off, his armor and MR "returned to normal/passive values" from items and the 4x mountain drake permabuff.
It's was a "non-refreshing", fixed armor reduction for the rest of the "drain duration" (4 seconds), resulting in rammus getting a negative armor values I'm not sure of the total amounts and calculations the system of the game used, but in this video the negative armor maximum shown amount was -303. Trundle ultimate apparently "doesnt refresh" at the target's defenses "live value" amount, it keeps stealing the 40% quantity that was there, right at the moment the ultimate activated.
He only counters armor reliant tanks with no damage and poor escape. On the other hand tanks with damage and sustainability and cc slow like tahm or mundo are tough for him
