Your homemade version sounds awesome! My version of sloppy joe was just some lentils with barbecue sauce, jalapenos with some of the brine, and sweet bread pickles. LOL
Dude, you‘re da bomb! Thx 🙏 for the cooking. I’m enjoying your Videos so so much. Salute from Berlin, Germany 🇩🇪
Made the classic tonight, you my friend are a wizard.
This video is right on time. I was just looking up recipes the other day thinking about making sloppy joes! I also grew up with manwich and I haven't had a sloppy joe in ages. These recipes are awesome and I'm totally trying them out😋👌🍔
One of the reasons I love your channel is that you take as much time and effort in plating your dishes as you do in creating them. Just wanted you to know I appreciate your tireless pursuit of perfection. (And the recipes 😋😄)
I'm very surprised your channel isn't bigger. Your recipes & videos are great, short and to the point. Definitely one of my favorite channels. Keep em' coming.
the western bacon sloppy joe! omg! looks so good!
Amazing! My wife had a big time chuckle with your “once you’re happy with your meat” thing. 👍
I normally make mine with tvp and manwich, i definitely am going to try your recipe. Thank you so much.
Thank you for demonstrating that sodium citrate works on vegan cheese. I gave away mine to my brother when I went vegan thinking it would only work on regular cheese. I got it right back from him after seeing your video. The only change I made to it was adding in nutritional yeast and mustard powder to make it cheesier tasting.
Thank you for uploading this one! It's been over 10 years since I've had a sloppy joe! Now that I live in Australia I can't purchase "Manwich" so this will be amazing!
Yummy 🤤 Now I want a sloppy joe with bacon never had that wersten joe. Thanks for all your great videos
I need to make that last one. It looks fantastic.
Im 43. Never had a Sloppy Joe. Your recipe has changed my mind. Yummy! Cheers to the chef.
To save $$$, TVP (textured vegetable protein) is perfect for something like this, and is DIRT CHEAP!! Especially compared to processed vegan "beef" mince, and is just as convenient and fast! The directions usually say to pre-hydrate the TVP but I always skip that to save time with zero unwanted results. 👍
lol good lil dude... your commentary is hilarious and preparing this tomorrow another great recipe.
I need to make this ASAP 🤤🤤
Looks delicious 😋
Ty for this!
Yes
You’re my all time fave
I watch your videos and have the urge to curse at you. Everything looks so damn good. I'm bout to gain a whole lotta weight since finding your channel.
You should try making chicken cordon bleu! I'm SO stuck trying to get a recipe
Yes childhood is right I remember this
Which meat did you use? I’m from the UK and I really want to make this, only comparable thing I’ve seen in the shops is the vegan mince which won’t work as well as it’s too soft, anyone know where to get it?
Duuuude I be making both lentil sloppy joes and LightLife sloppy joes all the time. LightLife grounds make for the best ones. Also try a sloppy giuseppe. A sloppy joe with vegan mozzarella on it.
Dill works good too
Omg I just had one today & yesterday 😂
I already ate - but now i'm hungry again *laugh cries*
As a Brit I have never seen the appeal of Sloppy Joe's but that might be because I hate messy foods. I will agree that this looks nice even if I would avoid it for being messy 😂
I always ate mine with the buns separated and sloppy joe mixture on top of each side and used a fork. No mess, enjoy. :)
@@andreaanonymous5474 sounds like what we do with Beans on toast. If I even have it I'll try that thanks.
@@TJWhiteStar It's worth it. They look gross, but they're actually very delicious. I would try the original first and make sure you use really soft buns like he did here. Don't toast them. :)
First of all: Beautiful recipe as always. Secondly an idea for you: There is this CZcams channel making deliciously looking but horribly unhealthy and absolutely nonvegan recipes called "scrumdiddlyumptious". Maybe you could veganize some of their recipes? Might even attract some of their viewers to the plant based side, bring you some extra subscribers, safe planetary resources and hopefully create some delicious recipes.
I feel the same way about Food Wishes. Most of his food looks good but he almost never does a vegan recipe and when he does, it's because the recipe itself was already vegan. And his stuff is never healthy.
Can you do a vegan sonic cheese burger and vegan animal fries from in-out😊
Woosta sheer
What is that bacon made out of? I'm tempted to try this making rice paper bacon or tempeh
IS that the beyond meat?
Wow, American food is wild 😅
Call me crazy but I have never been a fan of sloppy foods. I'm sure it tastes amazing. I would want to just put that yummy food into a bowl and eat it with a spoon or fork, neatly. Bread on the side.🙂
So funny I was literally eating a sloppy joe for my next video (tofu ground beef) and I wrapped it in deli paper. That’s a good trick 👍🏼

dude..you said jalapeño poppers...
no pickle on any of them, not good...
How the F%^£ does this channel not have more subscribers??? Great stuff as always 🙏🏽
haha thank you! I'm almost at 25k which is pretty cool!
@Fernando Rodriguez Omg I say the same thing every time I watch a new video!
@@TheeBurgerDude Yes, that is very cool...you deserve more though. 🙂 Ever thought about showing yourself on cam?
@@princess3193 I would also love to see a "How/why I became vegan" video too!
@@kadyr8935 Yes, me too, that would be interesting!!! 😀
