Ilocano in terms of people is from northern luzon also but native from ilocos and in terms of dialect ilocanos speaks their mother toungue as ilocano which igorots or cordillerans can speak
They are not igorot nor ilocano. The people of kalinga are called ykalinga.

The Kalinga history is from the Hindu history Kalinga era. A filipino doctorate in phillipines history studies had written this phillipines kalinga history which goes way back to hindu kalinga war, Philippines Maharaja, Maharani and Vijeya era ( now is called Visayas).
Her article is remove from the web. It makes sense on why Philippines ancient cultures is close to India.
@Northerner Highlander i havr travelled to many places in phillipines for the last 20 years. Abt 12 years ago, In Bicol, Albay, mt. Mayon. The road name was Jesus + Kalinga and many more hindu names were there in Tabaco. The phillipines historian wrote abt the maharajahs story in phillipines. The story of Princess Daraga killed by great Maharaja in Bicol.
Kalinga war may not have the direct link to india war at that time. But there was a war ( kalinga)in phillipines and it ended in Pangasinan n fought within the Maharajas. Surigao is known as the warriors of the Sun.

@@raphaelsanluis9711 Spanish civilization came in 15th century. Filipino history way before 15th century and most of them are ancient tribal warriors. It's was from Maya time and they do have with Hindu and Buddhism culture. Visayas is from the word Vijeya Era.
The neighboring country are Malay archipelago with Hindu Ramayama history.

Here what is being documented is the Kalinga Province, it is a province in the Philippines. What you are talking about is the Kalinga Region of India which is not even the topic of the video. These two places are completely different from each other, they just have the same name.
