As someone who played the Naruto games since Ultimate Ninja 1 and clash of ninja....you guys deserve better than this.
Ultimate ninja 4 and 5 (known as accel in Japan) are still the goats . The ninja taisen 4 on GameCube is also goated
We don’t even have the 7 swordsman of the mist nor the support characters from Ninja Storm 3 Full Burst. Why are games releasing a minimum value product? This should have been a $40 expansion pack for Storm4. They ho’ed us again

It's not worth $60 and if you're here for story you'd be very disappointed,but they changed the competitive scene completely,like they really changed the meta so for me it's worth it 😊

Honestly, as someone who played the Storm series all the way through and still follows the Naruto stuff coming out today, this is a fair review of Connections. Glad you guys didn't just go "it's the newest, biggest Naruto game with the most characters" and be done with it. This game was mostly stitched together in a really uninspiring way. It's like CC2 hates creating new content and writing new code, so for the most part they just combine stuff that already exists. They've rarely gone out of their way to address problems the players share with them. The one thing I'll give them kudos for is the bunch of new characters they made, but that might as well have been DLC - it doesn't justify releasing a new game

Kishimoto's original concept for Naruto, was about wizards. He only changed it to ninjas because Harry Potter got released around the time he was developing the pilot chapter.

Naruto: The Broken Bond still the best Naruto game which is sad considering it came out in 2008. Being able to pick 2 other ninjas to leave the leaf village and travel to a different one by jumping through trees was amazing. Game was way ahead of its time, wish they kept concept with the newer games. Also which they remastered that game for next gen.

Some characters actually have 5 jutsu, as some jutsu can be charged to make something else.
Same as storm 4 bruv eg when you charge naruto rasengan you get a giant rasengan not much difference besides extra characters

They made the amount of Ryo you get in offline modes very little compared to other storm games incentivizing people to play multiplayer. However not only did they release the multiplayer with missing features but it also doesn’t even WORK half the time. And as of right now Xbox players can’t even play. Worst storm launch to date. Such a shame
Without counting the fact that the multiplayer is STILL P2P in 2023 and has no crossplay which will make it die that much faster. It's incredibly hard to find matches in previous Storm games depending on the platform and when you do, you just get sweats that know every single combo in existence.

Cyber Conect got out of idea because their Naruto fighting games were already perfect so they just make the same game like Demon Slayer and this just like what Ubisoft usually do with their games.

Should of just dropped the original story entirely and given us all the major boss fights from the previous games with an added few, like Deidara vs Sasuke, Bee vs Kisame, Naruto/Sasuke vs Haku. Would of gotten far more positive outcome. Could change the gameplay like they did here, but most of us were getting this for the story, The Naruto story, and they dropped it hard here. Couldn't even keep the bosses from the previous entries let alone any new ones.
Let's be real most of us don't care about filler, and most don't care about Boruto. We're here for the OG 2, and their story. They know that as well which is why it starts with them.
Whilst initially novel, these games quickly became eye candy only.
It gives me that old storms feel, but it just doesnt hit the same.

It's pretty dissappointing that we still can't get the option to choose the jutsu for each character that they have throughout the series instead of picking a different version of them

He spoke inaccurately. Storm 3 had an overworld. He probably skipped over Generations when he said that.
Generations was an in-between game, it wasn't numbered, so it isn't 'main line'. Most people care about numbered games, so Storm 1,2,3,4

This game is just disappointing, I’m fine with the gameplay changes. But my two biggest problems with this game is 1. the voice acting, 2. they cut out Naruto vs Sasuke in storm 3.

Hollow single player content , must mean updated customization to a level of my hero one’s justice 2 or tekken 7. A vs battle mode , survival mode , tournament mode , practice mode 2 story modes with at least over 6 hours of gameplay for each. Yet people love Nickelodeon all star brawl with less modes 😂😂 or other fighting game the words “ hollow single player content “ are used to loosely in my opinion.

This is the game that costs 100 bucks?
The mechanics feel outdated and need a new overhaul to make these games more engaging, also when are we gonna get open world or at least zones, like in Ninja Storm 1? Where we could explore Konoha, do side missions and mini games. They focus more of just having like a million playable characters in the game as opposed to quality characters.
I'm surprise no one make a game like that yuyu hakusho snes game yet

No graphics improvement, no combat improvement (they remove tilt and turned it to secondn injutsu) no longer jutsu selection, this game is basically pure milking

@@OokPuddinno it wasn’t lol there was so much more interactiveness with the stages and the village was fully explorable. It didn’t have online but the actual fights against CPU are more fun overall as the characters have more moves to use in battle.

Basically the same fighting system when in previous storm games u only could use one jutsu not 2 like in storm connections . Or the anime when they had access to all of their jutsu . The days of picking between chidori or fire ball jutsu are over in storm connections u get both. Also how many times could the retell the whole naruto story the already did it perfectly 🤣
Make a Naruto single player game where we can have our own abilities and in a alternate universe it’s a story where we either become a villain to start the war or become powerful to help save the villages

Does anybody know how to get in contact with the studio that make Naruto games. And DBZ games, to let them know we need like a Huge Open-world Sandbox- Mission/contract side mission games. With Destructive Environments like (The Finals) That would blow our minds!able to Switch btwn FPS- 3rdPP, an take elements from these games: GTA V, Horizon West, Cyberpunk 2007, but keep the 360 battle style of the games for fight encounters on Run-into’s. Kinda what Street fighter 6 did, but miss the mark!
If done right the game could last for 3-4yrs with New DLC each season of longevity like how GTA V, R6:seige, is doing. 😎👏🏼🔥
