- This is a virtual tour of downtown San Clemente California during sunset in early 2021. Del Mar Avenue is where we start then we walk all the way down to the San Clemente pier as we watch the sunset over Santa Catalina island. San Clemente is in south Orange County just north of Oceanside.

Brings back memories!!! When I was in the Marine Corpse, this was my favorite city to hang out in.
Indeed a 5-star town. I speend a week each year there (San Clemente Cove). Tremendous sunsets, as noted. Great trail for walking or running. Love the sound of trains. A highlight you didn't menntion is dinner at sunset at the wharf restaurant. Pri0celessly beautifully.

Awesome videos. Started watching your channel years ago for your Big Island content. But awesome to see you doing videos from another of my old stomping grounds. I spent a lot of years in Oceanside , San Clemente and Dana Point because on the military. I miss living in Southern California. There is so many good places to eat in San Clemente. Especially Pedro's Tacos. Trestles was my main surf spot . But I lived in San Onofre base housing and would ride my bike to the beach every day even if there was no surf. Use to also kayak alot too. But I am a island boy now living in Kansas City MO for work reasons. You should do a tour around KC when its warmer out.
I was hoping you'd go there. This is my home town and I miss it a lot! It's very rich for my blood now but something keeps pulling me back and I'm sure I'll go back eventually! Thanks for posting this👌
Beautiful town, was raised here. I certainly pronounce names differently, a good way to know when a local is speaking. Love the area, was a great place to go too school. Good to see a video.
Recallgavinnewsom2020 crew out there. My favorite thing is looking down at San Clemente at sunset. They have done a good job building most buildings white stucco walls and terra-cotta roofs. Looks cool

You can also get to Catalina Island out of Newport Beach. I hiked the Trans Catalina Trail 3 1/2 years ago.
California is very left. However you do have pockets of “normalcy” like San Clemente. It’s a very much patriotic town!
