The youngest football debut was at 12 years old 😳 Find out more here: czcams.com/users/shortsAb2XcRJaYH4
Xavi never compared him to messi. His quote was taken out of context.
If you are a young football player being conpared to messi is the best curse ever.
Don't compare these players to Messi. It puts them under lot of pressure. Comparison to anyone makes new players anxious. Nunez is struggling because he is expected to perform by the benchmark set by Suarez. While Suarez flied under radar because performing upto standards set by Torres was on Andy Carroll.
True, lots of people failed to fulfill their potential when they were compared to Messi.
I was enjoying the video until they said that Xavi said that
Yeah, remember bojan krkic
@@DickInSon. yea though no one else knows about him sadly
This is what I was going to say...that true 👍👍👍
Comparing him to Messi is a big mistake from xavi
comparison with messi ruins their career. Like Ansu fati .Dybala was the same too. Like comparison to Messi is just such a big pressure and such a weight
@@r3dblood816 yeah
he compared him to messi based on his play style and technical skills, not to raise hype
@@abdulla6245 doesn't matter what he meant, just comparing him to the likes of Messi is going to put a lot of pressure on him
@@Mark-bo1gb pressure creates diamond. Messi was compared to Maradona but soon surpassed him
That’s crazy taking off a 18/19 year old Gavi for a 15 year old Yamal. Youngster fc with a bright future. 😅
The boy still needs a lot bit of attitude in play but despite his that his probably doing better than most players
Now barça needs Messi to help train that kid like Ronaldinho did Messi
Edit: I meant to say he helped Messi mb
Dinho did not train messi

Don’t compare him to Messi- we all know what happened to the players that were called “the next Messi”
Well Messi was called ''the next Maradona'' and that worked out pretty well for him.

Don't compare such young players. He's talented and has great potential. I don't want him to fail by comparisons
Since this video, Yamal has grown like 3-4 inches
Simply a talent that’s how he got chosen

Never compare people with people, it's like your parents saying "you should be like him or her" it kinda puts pressure on you to work harder but end up not succeeding.
Or if you are strong mentally it makes you even better than the ones you are being compared to

Vamos Lamine 💪💙❤
It’s very nice to see such youngsters growing and playing for big and renowned clubs( in this case Barcelona)…but comparing anyone with messi is not justified… There was, there is, and there will be only one messi. After him I guarantee no other messi will take birth…That’s one and only piece 🔥🔥
No, Yamal is still too young to be compared. Though if he is playing for Barcelona… BARCELONA at the age of 15, I’m pretty sure we’ll be talking about the name Yamal a lot
I thought the age to enter matches like this was 16
Not laliga
@@frozenturbo8623nah it can be younger than 15 too
well now he is practically carrying Barca so there's that
The age gap between lamine and bellingham is bigger than the age gap of me and lamine (I'm 13)that's crazy co,sidering the fact bellingham is a youngester who won the golden boy
never ever compare him with the goat
Gavi mad he was always the youngest
Teacher:Yamal why weren't you here yesterday? Yamal:ah sorry I was playing in the UCL😂
He’s the first Lamine Yamal
Please can you do a video on Lamine Yamal’s training schedule as a 13 years old ?
Yamal is next messi ❤❤❤❤
Never ever that’s not possible….There is, was and will be only one messi…No one can replace him or even try to match his play style..
if i started when i was 5 id be crazy
Bro started his career in Barcelona academy when he was 5 years old🥲
Just please give me chance, I promise I will play better😢
Wow that is nice
Imagine he plays for the Moroccan team, they will be even more unstoppable
Nah he'll pick spain
@@just-give-me-a-handle tbh i wouldnt blame him
@@just-give-me-a-handle I personally doubt it. Morocco have one of the best international managers in the world right now and some really good young players like Ounahi and El-Khannouss. Plus the best players born outside of Morocco who can play for Morocco usually tend to pick Morocco for religious reasons, For example, Hakimi, Amrabat, Ziyech, Bounou, El-Khannouss and practically the entire Morocco squad except Ounahi and a few other players who were born in Morocco. I heavily doubt Yamal will turn down Morocco if the manager wants him which lets be honest, The manager definitely wants him.
@@muhammadryanelyeddari8631 interesting points 🤔
When somebody is compared to leo, We all know whats gonna happen next
Leo was compared to Maradona and well, the rest is history.
@@muhammadryanelyeddari8631 Messi is Messi tho. We all saw what happened to all the others
To people saying "dont comparw him to Messi" its a compliment, and xavi played with messi, so it means thatuch more
now you can give credit and praise the kid but never compare him to messi
He might be the Youngest player to ever play on a professional club
Its a shame he is playing for Spain when he has no spanish parents, i would like for him to play for Morocco instead considering how well they did a few months ago.
He might play for Morocco. Almost every Moroccan player born outside of Morocco started playing for the international team of the country they lived in. For example Ziyech, Sofyan Amrabat and Nordin Amrabat all used to play for the Netherlands, Belhanda used to play for France and El-Khannouss used to play for Belgium. I'm not sure about any other Moroccan players except those but most Moroccans living outside of Morocco usually pick Morocco because of religious reasons.
Don't compare him to messi he should playing good it puts him under pressure
he compared him based on his play style and technical skills
He's making me feel bad about myself. 😂 I'm the same age and I'm just a bench player at my local youth club😢
Good for him though
Don’t feel bad bro I just started at 15 we all have different journeys to becoming pro, just keep working hard n keep ur head up
yeah getting to play at that age means he has a lot of natural talent; I’m not saying he didn’t work hard but once you get to 18 hard work starts to show more
Don’t compare any player to Messi Hes the G.O.A.T
Dunno. People used to say the same when Messi was being compared to Maradona. There will definitely be a player better than Messi some time in the future since teams today are spending more money on developing young talents than ever so I don't see why we should rule out Yamal.
I never knew Lamine was from Equatorial Guinea
bruh how do you get scouted at 5 years old
that's barca for you 😏
Teacher: Why were u absent yesterday?
Yamal: I was playing in la liga for the best club in the country.
Teacher: Keep dreaming.
LATER THAT DAY;
Teacher: Oh well I guess I missed yesterday's barca match let's watch highlights. Hmm OK goal assisted by... WHAT?
NEXT DAY;
Teacher wearing Barcelona jersy: Can you sign my jersy pls😅
The fact sid replace Bellingham with Bellingham is just insane
I’m just sad because if I were to play in Spain or englande I will be in the first team and I’m 17😢😢😢😢
Never compare him to Messi
Bro is playing in the champions league before he is legally allowed to drink alcohol and to drive a car 💀💀
I hope he does well and the pressure doesn’t get to him…
At 5 years old scouted 😅 when did he start footballing?
Okay let not get carried away now😂😂😂

How can a 5 year-old be scouted?
Scouted at 5 wow
That's how I play I play him
everyone is good for himself don t compareevery good new footballer to messi everyone has his own thing comparaison is bad thing from my own experience
Xavi should have compared him with messi later, not now. Even tho he kinda have similar play style, he rn have a pressure to be exactly like messi
Should play for Morocco instead of spain

Wow
I went lâ Masia and ı played there last week

There is one rule at Barcelona: Never Ever Ever compare Messi to another player
So he can play for Morocco , Ecuador or Spain??
Yamal is good, but Messi talent at yamals age was different, honestly Messi talent was underrated, these days a 17 year old can score one goal and he is immediately compared to Messi talents and some say it’s even better. Like cmon now😅
No way my dad is from Spain and my mom is from Ecuador
Hes not the youngest player ever to debut for Barca there were a few 14 year olds that did so before the 2000s
compare him to peak Dembele then
You can have good respect on youngsters like him but everytime I hear someone comparing the youngster with messi, The youngster wouldn't even be close to messi as hes being pressured to be better than messi which was already the best.
Messi was being compared to Maradona and he still managed to become better than him. I don't see why Yamal can't do the same.
Don't compare anyone to Messi, you gonna be dissapointed. Really. Just look at the payers before who got conpared to Messi, and where are them? Especially Ansu Fati, it's a torture seeing him play now
Nah nah nah don't compare young talents to messi and other cause the pressure will really destroy them
New youngest
5 is crZy
I really respect xavi but some of his comments does not make sense and his player selection bias is a shit that won’t change soon. It may hunt his team down in European competition
Xavi
Compares him to messi
Every barca fan
OH SH! i hate you Xavi
Every player who was compared to the goats failed
Messi was compared to Maradona.
comapring him to messi is like saying karius is > Courtious, its simply stupidity
He his agood footballer but they shouldn't call him the next messi that pressure is to much
Look he’s good alright but don’t compare him to Messi cause Messi is another level
He's also on another level. He's around the level Messi was at 15 and he has amazing potential. Messi won't always be the best, Eventually a player will come along and top him so there is no reason to write off Yamal.
@@muhammadryanelyeddari8631exactly and football nowadays is getting harder
Morooccan father???? GET HIM TO THE MOROCCAN TWAM NOW
Xavi didn’t compare him to Messi!!!
Please do a research before posting a video.
''You saw Messi's and Fati's debuts, has Yamal impressed you like they did?''
''Yes, he's similar, because he has the talent to play in the final third. He is a player that can mark an era at Barca''
Sounds like a comparison if you as me.
Xavi praising him just because he’s from Spain kid is dog
Daddy
Messi is more exciting. He's fucking good though
I'm the same age as him and suck at anything other than maths😢
Everyone has different skills and dont compare yourself to him hes a prodige
the biggest mistake is comparing him to messi do you remember the players who were called (the next messi)
Bojan Krkic
dybala
ansu fati
eden hazard
they all ruined their careers cuz of the comparison to messi
so stop comparing players to messi
I hope he never become Messi he should aspire to be great as Lamine yamal rather than trying to fill for anyone's shoes
No lamine is a kid to Messi
it's funny how every young player that performs well these days is by default compared to Messi I have no grudge against these players but really comparison to literally the greatest legend of that very club he is Messi y'all, it used to be Bojan and he was atleast comparable, but then fast forward a few years later and then some Said Ansu Fati then Pedri and now Yamal, and I am saying this as a Ronaldo fan
I mean Messi was compared to Maradona and still managed to out preform him. Yamal right now is probably one of the best 15 year old footballers of all time.
@@muhammadryanelyeddari8631 but Messi even played a few matches then he was starting to be compared Maradona, but Yamal has just played that one match and boom he might be the next Messi like is it that easy that just one match has to go good.
@@mardenfernandes5526 Messi was compared to Maradona imdietly after this first match. Granted he scored 2 goals that match (One being offside) but he was 17 at the time if I remember correctly. 2 years older than Yamal

@@mardenfernandes5526 Yeah, But it's only been one match. Who knows, Maybe he'll play a big part next season. He's already shown himself to have great technique, skill and awareness.
I mean, he's carrying Barce right now
Lies. Xavi never compared him to messi.
But no player can't be compared to messi no offense
It seem Spain has gaining a lot of young talents of African origin
Seems like copying the French formula
Morocco has been really good at getting their talents back at young ages. Thats why you don't really see any good Moroccans over the age of 20 playing for other teams. The last good one was probably Benbarek however he was born over 100 years ago.
yeahh but is that even legal???
Useless content. Xavi didn’t compare him to Messi.
He kinda did. The full context is a journalist asking him ''You saw Messi's and Fati's debuts, has Yamal impressed you like they did?'' Xavi responded
with ''Yes, he's similar, because he has the talent to play in the final third. He is a player that can mark an era at Barca''
If he wasn't comparing him to Messi he would've said he wasn't similar to Messi or he would've made it clear he was comparing him to Fati. He didn't do either so it's pretty obvious he was comparing him to both Messi and Fati. Comparing him to Messi doens't exactly mean he said he was better than Messi but he definitely compared him to Messi.

@@TahaAlZadjali didn't make any sense and i'm having a seizure trying to read that
@@TahaAlZadjali He has never lived in Morocco so it wouldn't make sense for him to play for a Moroccan club and what do you mean ''where's the hardwork?'' Do you think he just turned up to a trial and was signed for no reason? There are thousands of people who show up to Barcelona trials every year trying to get signed. He out-preformed all of them to get signed. The definition of luck is ''success or failure apparently brought by chance rather than through one's own actions.'' It was Lamine's own actions that allowed him to play a first team match in the second hardest league in the world. He's put more work into becoming the best player he can be than you've put into anything. Thats why you're not starting for the first team of a professional club at 15 years old, let alone one of the biggest clubs in the world.
