Fishing With Expanders & Soft Pellets
In spring/early summer one of the best baits to use can be the expander pellet or soft pellet as it's also known. When fished in the right manner it can be incredibly effective!
As the weather starts to warm the water, the fish become more active throughout the water column and start to look for higher protein baits - this is where the expander pellets come in!
In this latest ADTV video we show you a few tips on how to effectively fish with expanders and soft pellets.

If I soften my expanders and then glug then up will how long will they last. I have always been told to keep then I water to stop then splitting. Is that true?

Thanks for the video. I'm searching expanders that are suitable for waggler fishing at +30m. Any suggestions, or advises ?

Hi Martin, if you're looking for a hook bait then you might be best looking at a specific soft hooker pellet, as these are a bit tougher and will withstand the cast better. Feed wise any expander should be ok. Hope that helps.

Great video mate. Never used pellets but just bought a tub of hallebut soft hookers and was wondering how long they will last. Do I freeze what I have left or just put lid on. And use as normal next time. Thanks in advance. Steve

Steve ... just seal the lid back down mate, you can always put the tub in a sandwich bag as well .. just to keep the air out. Will last a good while for you. Good fishing 👍
