- Hey guys, Chevy Truck Taylor here! Welcome to the channel! In this video I attempt to rescue a one owner 1969 Chevy C20 pickup truck that belonged to my great uncle! It has been sitting in a field for over 20 years! Can we get it home running or not? Stay tuned to find out! ENJOY THE VIDEO!!!
You should be careful and really replace those split wheels. Dangerous.
Hey that’s a great find. Your a young guy carrying on the rescuing of these types of vehicles. Keep it up.
The front pad on the engine near the alternator will have the info as to what engine it is. It will tell you a lot. Provided it’s never been decked.
Wow, what a wonderful truck! Thanks for sharing 👍😊
Your like a young VGG, and I appreciate that! Really fun to watch!
I have a c 10 setting in my garage the exact same color!!! Nice good luck with it the one I have is from the west no rust anywhere!!
I can't wait to see the next episode. I might even pitch in to buy you another can of brake cleaner (or wasp spray).

Lol
A little bit of mice.

Looks like the mice had a party there.
I am sure that it smells awesome 👌

I bought the same custom c20 in Utah but mine was sky blue We switch the cab due to rust converted the truck to five lug We did the square body disc brake conversion in the front 12 ball in the rear end we are working on dropping the motor into the truck mine came with a 350 as well but it was missing but the turbo 400 was still intact happy wrenching man
That sounds like a really sweet rig! Thank you and best of luck 👍

Well young vice grip you got a sub
Get you a box of SOS pads. And give it a outside wash. Gets rid of a lot of oxy
And brings out the color back. Plus it feels much smoother and won't feel like the finish is rubbing off on you 😕
👍
It would be interesting to see if the build sheet in the glove box is legible. I have a 72 CST k10 I'm working on. Those trucks are way to cool to sit and rot or even worse get crushed. Nice to see one get revived
And all steel. .safer than plastic in case of accidents...trust me...💪
Nice video
Thanks man
A young Derick From Vice Grip Garage!?
Just subscribed. We have a couple dozen of the 67 thru 72 trucks. We have a 71 -3/4 thats is a factory big block with a turbo 400 trans. and a steel flat bed. The 67 was the only trucks that body style with wood floors and small back window. 67 was the first year for the dual master cyl. 71 and 72 have front disk brakes.
Wow what a collection! Big blocks rule! I wish my truck had front discs!
@@chevytrucktaylor9102 Disk brake is a easy conversion. You just swap the entire front crossmember and all the componets. it all bolts together. then you need a portioning valve. You will get 5 lug hubs using half ton componets. however the 3/4 tons are 8 lug disk.
the yard contractor, there is a smell of chemicles in my back yard.
Nice
I have a 1971 gmc 3/4 ton I'm doing over I'm in American fork Utah
Off-road outlaws should add a crew cab Ford
Those exhaust manifolds tell me Corvette but I could be wrong
Quadrajets are awesome
If I remember right its been 40 years.
I think you may be right!
cars for cash bull shit. lol, glad you all saved them. bring her back.
Did it have another 350 put in it ?
Any new updates on the truck?
Bro...when u get it running...u got a classic
..non Chip...str8 driver..parts are available everywhere....and their value is going up as Americans realize that outsourcing costs jobs & Quality..not 2 mention jobs😔
Do the Tracker next?
Next time you'll want to load that the other direction. You need the weight of the drivetrain on the front of the trailer
if some jack leg not certiterfied ASE is doing the work, give my key back. i can do it myself.
What did you pay for this truck originally in the video.?
car of ceder management.
racoons dig in an around my house.
