Sei, flower adornments worn behind the ear, are a cherished sight in Sāmoan culture. So cherished, that it is often the focal point of love and affection, held in high esteem by any admirer. This composition draws upon the sei as a metaphor for someone most treasured. It refers to the specific blossom of the leva (sea mango), native to the Pacific. While the fruit and leaves of the leva carry a formidable potency, when prepared properly, the leva can heal the most painful of ailments.

Malō lava, manaia le fa’alogologo atu i tou si’ufofoga malu. This is a beautiful song. Fa’aosofia ai fo’i le fia siva. Loving the sound and very refreshing to hear the language crisp and clear. Malō lava, fa’afetai i tou Susuga. Bringing back the classics but not changing the classic sounds. And I lalalalooove the sound of the Upright Bass!! I used to play that in High School eons ago 😂.
