Was MSC Elodie repowered or otherwise modified? She has that separate asymetric funnel located on her starboard side. She originally didnt have that. Looks like some type of turbine setup running through a heat reclaim system.
that's an exhaust scrubber that MSC have fitted on a number of their containerships. It works like a catalytic converter basically, I think, produces steam as a byproduct. Alexander the Great has a similar arrangement.

@@deksea VLCC Alexander the Great has an exhaust scrubber too. To conform to 2020 sulphur regulations, ships must use light sulphur fuel or having a scrubber if they use heavy fuel oil. These scrubbers are ugly...

Alexander the Great is showing a lot of freeoard. Is she a crude carrier coming into port having been lightered off-shore? I assume only laden crude carriers enter port and leave empty.
She was heading north towards Gothenborg, so she probably called in at one or two ports on her way northward and offloaded some cargo.
