I'm so happy Shannen won her battle against Cancer. It really took a toll on her and it was heartbreaking to watch.
I was really stoked when I heard it was coming back but when Luke died it just will never be the same, it just wont. I will miss him, and really never feel the same about it I wish I could, BH90210 was Luke and everyone he will be missed, he made it work.
So, they aren't playing the characters in the show. This show is about the ACTORS coming together wanting to make a revival of the 90210 show. It's being marketed in a way that doesn't depict that at all. Basically all the actors are playing heightened versions of themselves.
and dont U think, as i do, that they owe the revival of their careers to Luke passing? If they are smart they will bring back some of the 2000s reboot cast too. Allows for the 20 to 30 age group feel they should watch too along with the middle aged viewers. The reboot in the 2000s was very good as far as reboots go. Was very popular amongst the people early 20s to early 30s today. Gossip girl is being rebooted too purely for millennial nostalgia as we are a generation growing up now too
No. That would be a dumb idea. This isn't for the twentysomethings. Fans of the original hated the CW reboot. It completely destroyed the legacy of the original by ruining Kelly's repaired relationship with her mother (and killing her off) and turning Dylan into a deadbeat dad. The new characters were completely unlikeable as well. They need to pretend that the CW version didn't exist.
