It depends on the condition how often you do the lube for chain.
Generally it is recommended to change at the interval of 20000kms or 2years(as it doesn't cost much and as the time goes it become Hard).

From where u buyed bro, I am not able find out in any of the showroom of TVs in Bangalore
This i got long back from ASHWA TVS , but now their outlets are closed.
Check with any other TVS authorized service center nearby or else ask them to order this part.
Is it applicable to 160 4V also ? I am also having chain noise issue even after i changed chain kit.
Both have same chain guide.

Hi Akash, it's not like that. If you maintain your chain properly(lubrication and cleaning) without doing rash drive then there will be no issues with that.

I understand the problem.
It's because,
1.check Break pads.
2.check chain adjustment indication on both sides of swingarm.
3.check Front sprocket.
If all this condition is checked and rectified then no sound should come from rear brake setup, chain and wheel.

Usually these parts need to change once every 18k to 20k kms.
If not changed it will become hard and create noise from chain.

Bro my apache RTR 200 gives noise while I drive above 55km. 9000km running 1 year old vehicle. Noise starts from beginning itself. Service center made adjust and managed. Now it's big headache for. Kindly advice

I got your problem,Even it happened with me
it happens due to misaligned chain slackness and eventually it creates BENT in chain and sprocket(you can visually check that) .
So for this solution is :
1.You need to change the complete chain set(costs around Rs.2700).
2.Every time when you get chain adjusted check for marking on both sides of SWINGARM(MUST).

Sad to hear that, My suggestion is to take the rear and front sprocket out from the vehicle and inspect it thoroughly for any bent (as you mentioned).and if it exists then change it to new one without any delay.

it depends on the chain maintenance(proper lubrication) and slack adjustment.(the well you maintain it last long for a long time).
Without proper maintenance this rubber becomes HARD over a time.
I personally recommend to change this part(buffer chain) for once in 2 years.

I bought new apache 200, while riding it in 3 to 4000 rpm I feel that chain movement is obstructed somewhere and bike doesn't move smoothly, it moves like engine is giving missing problem but that's not the issue. I even took it to service centre but they didn't resolve the issue, what might be the issue??? Did anyone faced same kind of issue?? Pls reply

Center fellows loot money like anything... Imagine he charged wheel alignment charge 150rs...when I question back what the F you did he reversed. This is just an example.... If you give service RTR 4v min service charge would be 2k not lesser

Instead of finding route cause 2 service centers fellows suggested the same... But when I reach local fellow he just adjusted chain to the correct point.. Instead of very tight.
