The people on this show don't express enough how big a deal it was for Klaus to Sacrifice himself. The most feared creature on the planet for 1000yrs that was so paranoid and obsessed with his own survival that he killed everyone that posed even the slightest possibility of a threat and went as far as leaving his siblings daggered in a box for decades sometimes even centuries out of fear of them being used against him, willingly sacrifices himself.... Monumentous.
Hope is literally the combination of ALL the Mikaelsons
Rebeccas tenacity
Elijah nobility/selflessness
Freyas love/and will to fight for those she loves
Kols cunning and charm
Finns determination
And Klaus ruthlessness,charm, and love as well as
Haileys love and persistence and good nature
The entire show of the originals was focused around her every moment every episode and the fact that she thought she was a cosmic mistake is just so incredibly sad because she has so many people that love her and would do anything for her she wasn’t some cosmic mistake she was as Landon put it

And now we’ve seen her grow in legacies to a strong young woman how is badass an is now tired of letting her loved one get hurt or die because of her LOVE this edit and this character KEEP IT UP!!!!!

The reason they haven’t shown her vamp side is because she hasn’t died yet. Yes she has Klaus’s vamp blood running through her veins but she still needs to activate it by dying. She still has to follow the same transitioning procedures as everyone else because technically vampires can’t reproduce so until she dies that part will be locked away. As for her werewolf side I think it’s because it hasn’t rlly been needed much; that’s her choice. She relies on her witch abilities as her 1st resort because she’s probably more comfortable using it. Remember that because she has vampire and werewolf blood it means that her powers double and she also is the granddaughter of the original witch.

This made me cry because I feel as a viewer seeing hope's parents growth and her own development from the very beginning until present is like watching your child grow and I can kinda of understand how Hayley and Klaus would feel when they are looking at her from the other side 😭😭🥰
People always thought she was a threat, their downfall. To certain people who threaten her home, yes, to others she was their savior but deep down she's just a girl doesn't want to be alone anymore, a girl doesn't want to feel the pain of it, the pain of having no one not even her parents to by her side or to understand her. She's just a girl who doesn't want to feel the pain anymore but she's a Mikaelson and Mikaelsons fight through the pain and suffering of loneliness in their lives and they stay strong, no matter how much it hurts them to do so. They stand tall, alone in the darkness and try to find a way out so no one dear to them doesn't have to suffer the price for the path they're walking on and hope for the best that their loved ones are safe and sound

Her power comes from her control of her "evil" side and control of her powers. She doesn't want to kill anyone bc she feels like she has caused so much death and pain for the ones around her. If she becomes a full tribrid there will be no stopping her, her feelings of guilt, anger, pain, and love will consume her and she will become GREAT. She could defet dark Josie in a heartbeat if she wanted, but she knows regular Josie is in there and so she won't risk losing one of her best friends.

Hope got many character traits from her family like anger and charm from Nik, beauty and courage from Hayley, humour from Kol and selflessness from Elijah but she also got her fear from her parents. Hayley and Nik shared the fear of being alone and it passed on to her...or at least I think.

I keep seeing comments about how they have ruined hope and that they need to make her a full tribrid and that landon isn’t good enough for her. First of all how have they ruined her? She is strong just the way she is and if they just shown you everything she was capable of right away they wouldn’t have anything to build her character on when more seasons are made. I get that you can’t wait for what she is ultimately capable of, I am too, however, I find that almost all shows do everything at first and they don’t spread it out well enough so the first seasons are usually always better than the last ones. Hope doesn’t need to show off and she doesn’t need to be a full tribrid because her and her friends are doing fine defeating the monsters just the way things are. That’s the beauty about hope. She is a mikaelson and she is a tribrid and she is the only one of her kind and unlike klaus she doesn’t use any of that to show off (apart from the odd one liners like “why not try all three” which was really badass imo) klaus used his reputation as the original hybrid all his life so everyone knew to fear him. Now for the people who don’t like Landon. He’s a good guy. A truly good guy who loves hope and hope loves him. Hope has already explained why she loves him and their love is just so pure and they are two truly good people who have been through so much in their lives and they deserve to be loved as deeply and they love each other.
Well problem is, that she was already more powerfull in the originals

Hey! I like Handon! Also I think a Phoenix is in a Tribrid league. They have healing, flying, fire, reincarnation, teleportation, transformation, and singing powers. The creators just haven't shown the full capabilities of Landon's powers yet so cut him some slack

I’m glad that hope is a made up character because no one should have to go through the pain that she went through.

I am really enjoying the show and I’m excited for its progression. I like that the first season was only 16 episodes because a lot of shows always try to hit that 20+ episodes with each season and you find that the number of episodes means more to them than the actual stories so seasons tend to feel like they drag sometimes because they’re tryna fill in the gaps to get 20+ episodes. Legacies hasn’t felt like it’s dragged once and I feel like they’re really focusing on the story with this one. The story is more important to the writers this time so they’re being smart about it and ending the season when they feel like the season should end.
I love her so much!! And I love the interactions between her and her family!! I wish we had more of them especially with Elijah and Rebekah and Kol! And 16 episodes for a season is way to little for me....

I honestly wish that the enemies of the originals would come for hope because it was stated in the originals that she would inherit all of them and she wouldn't be safe. I think it would be cool to see how the school deals with like a strong blood thirsty vamp or angry covens or something like that

In the prophecy, it is said that "the sins of the father will pass down to the daughters here." Now, some can argue that it was about Lizzie and Josie because of the episodes with Kai and how they all nearly died because of Alaric's choice to condemn three students to the misery of the prison world, but Niklaus Mikaelson was literally the most feared, hated, and absolutely ruthless vampire of all time. The second season was ended early because of the corona outbreak (I think because I read that somewhere), so we weren't able to see if anything would happen to Hope. She still hasn't activated her vampire side, and that's a point that has been increasing in importance since she sacrificed herself to Malivore.

In the Originals she was basically destined to be the greatest witch to ever live but in legacies she is seen as a weak witch, which I hate because when she was like 7 The hollow a “virus” that’s older then the Mikaelsons took over her body because her body could hold her at 7 yet she is treated like she just a plain old witch. I hate that

Question. The picture that she was looking at in the end of the video. I thought they threw that in the bonfire at the end of the episode it was taken in. Does anyone know what I'm talking about? They took the picture and then Klaus mentioned they would have to burn it so nobody knew that Hope was still alive.

I think this is why she's so afraid of using her full witch powers, what she does is do hand combat and simple spell over and over again. She afraid of losing control n kill someone she loves in the process and history repeat itself. If you watch closely Until end of The Originals Hope already proud of her powers , own spells but then its what took away her family from herself. Its totally understandable.

Yeah they downplay her powers so much, I love Josie and Lizzie and they are very powerful Gemini witches but Hope is a tribrid from an original at that, plus she was trained by some of the greatest witches and warlocks when she was even younger. I just hope that they show more of her powers in Season 3
@@Pure_Night_Fury So? I think you're downplaying Lizzie and Josie, actually. They're both Siphoners, and Kai could suck things like the Travellers Spell easy peasy.
I don't think that Siphoners actually have magical limits because they absorb it instead of having it naturally. Remember how Bonnie, a bennet witch, nearly got herself killed multiple times beccause of heavy magic usage? Josie has only bled because of black magic, not because she was using spells too difficult for her to master yet. They could literally transfer the Hollow in TO when they were thirteen.
Get enough magic for the Saltzman twins to siphon, and they could be stronger then Hope, like Dark Josie kinda implied they could become.
Hope is a Tribrid, and you can certainly tell in Legacies that she's studied more then the Saltzman twins about magic. Linking Lizzie to Landon and all, that was an move that Freya would have been proud of. Hope simply has limits to her magic, whereas I believe the twins don't, the main problem of the twins is that they need to store up that magic, and requires Siphoning more then once unless there is something like the Miserium at play.
The twins and Hope are probably on equal power levels, and that isn't a bad thing. Why shouldn't Hope have friends that can actually fight by her side? After everything she went through, I believe she deserves friends that are powerful enough to be capable of watching her back.
@@inferiorinferno8859 Exactly that and it is the second season and they are TEENAGERS. They shouldn't be at their strongest yet and they should still grow as characters. Hope was probably stronger in TO because her parents weren't dead yet. A traumatic event like that (especially when you blame yourself) can drastically change your strength and confidence in your powers. That and Hope doesn't want to hurt anybody else meaning that she lost against dark Josie for a reason (Josie is her friend and while she wants to stop her she does not want to hurt her)
