Sepik Music - Mangi Wasara - Hollie Rutz of Wewak

This is one of the famous Sepik song called Mangi Wasara. The song is a local hit that is played by local bands in the Sepik area. This is the Hollie Rutz band's style and version of the song and they took it up to the national level by recording it with the Kumul Studios in Goroka in 1997. Willie Sebas from Sagothorns copied their style and recorded it and so now many people think that its the Sagothorns style of playing mangi wasara but no.....its the hollie rutz style and sagothorns copied......Anyway nene Sepik nene wantok…...happy listening.
