Im excited and scared at the same time, it's the same studio that made Reincarnated As a Slime which is highly praised and in my opinion has a really nice animation and story and at the same time of how they're going to execute it, if they're going to be "faithful" to the manga as some people said then they make sure that they're going to do a fine damn job doing it otherwise it's either going to turn out just decent or in a worst case scenario, straight up bad.
Then again it's just the first visual and we still have yet to see any animation of it so let's keep our hopes up for a bit and be patient.
I know I know, the art isn't everything, but all I have to say is that if Rin's new look is a sign of things to come, I'm more than happy enough to just enjoy 2 seasons of a great show.

I didn't realize how popular Yuru camp was until I started finishing the first season and started to research anything related to the series such as collab merch and digital media (VR games, smartphone game, alarm clock app). I can't wait to finish watching S2 and then move to S3 and eventually the movie.
didn’t realize this anime was big in japan.. i just thought this was an underrated classic lol. once i heard this anime was getting a s3, i was excited! until i realized they changed different studios… but some ppl are saying the 8-bit artstyle is faithful to the manga, so im putting my faith in that lol

Nice positive comments. Lemme add some negativity. Its def getting ruined. 8bit ruined so many good adaptations, series that would've been mainstream cool just like toradora or sakurano pet kanojo. But instead are forgotten and never remembered. Im not a hater on 8 bit for no reason. I love yuru camp but i dont want it to end badly like some series.
Yuru camp was a suprise hit. Both in Japan and in the west. It was #1 most popular anime in both seasons it was released. In Japan, it made all the camping spots 300% more popular. Causing a boom in camping and camp supplies in Japan. All the villages and camp grounds around Mt. Fuji love the show.
Im pretty much fine with design being changed as long as i can see the goofy face and it's still confy AF ❤

8-bit is a Great studio actually. Their animations are really good. So I don't think we will be disappointed. Rin's face and some other characters' faces might look a little different because the characters themselves have grown up a little bit, i think.
Anyways, I love both the Yuru Camp series and 8-bit studio very much.
Yup! The characters have aged indeed as seen in the movie released two years ago which is why I also believe people seem disappointed but sometimes change can be either good or bad. I am just happy we got two seasons, a movie, then a third season announcement.

Season 3 just aired to my opinion C station still did it better.
What concerns me the most is the director of the show itself. With only 2 shows under his belt (and both are trashy show to say the least), I'm scared that they'll butcher this show hard. The artstyle change is honestly the least concern to me and i feel like they're trying to be closer to the manga art. Another thing that kinda disappoint me is that Eri Sasaki won't be singing the ED for season 3 but oh well at least the OST will have the comfy vibe from previous seasons.
