As a newer player (~60ish hours), I can 100% say that I had a more enjoyable experience playing casual. No one takes it seriously, I made way more friends, and even performed better.
Casual can be fun but it is too much crowded, I enjoy playing hostage mode on assault because the map is big
how do you perform better in casual XD 30 people server 10 peeking u at once 10 nades 50 flashes
I like chaotic games like tf2 but csgo casual is a bit too chaotic, the maps weren't designed for 20 players
I find myself enjoying short competitive matches, i don't play long that much because if you get matched with idiots you gotta play with them 30 minutes

As a non prime kinda new player, casual sucks. 20 people is too much chaos and the teammates are shit. Most of the times u get in a hacker lobby too

Thing is i left the game wheb it was free to play cause someone in my team always was cheating or the opp side was hacking . Now with prime theres a lot less like 1 in a 100 matches where i have to face a hacker and the drops are more consistent tbh .

pretty much the difference in prime vs free is that in prime you play for rank and in free no,and you get better players,xp etc. which in the free version you dont have that
