  • **SILENT VIDEO**
This video gives you a somewhat-accurate description of how a Thunderbolt 1000, 1000T, or 1003 siren works. It's not the most accurate, but it may answer some questions.

the motor that spins the chopper is in the barrel directly under the chopper. it would have to have some weeeird design to have the chopper motor in the rotator box! but like u said, it isnt the most accurate, and it wasnt, but you got the overall point.

Works with shop backs and leaf blowers instead of a blower. But a blower is a WAY better choise.

And the solenoid blocks don't move as wholes. Their outside parts would stay put while their cylinder parts move in and out to block the air in the case of alternating between the two notes.
So... you've done a cool job here, but may I suggest something? Will you combine everybody's suggestions (double-check our accuracy first) and then make a new version of the video accordingly, and then post it, and then redirect viewers of this one over to that one?
    Good job though!
