are there any torque specs for the rubber blocks?
I was wondering the same thing. I tightened mine till I saw the washer rubber itself expand and used blue locktite. But it seems like you would tighten till that block expanded a tad. But I’m sure it will be leak free. Man this is a awesome freaking rack. Hopefully I will Be able to finish putting it on tomorrow
I see you have an ARE cap, do you know if this rack can be installed with the ARE ascend roof basket mounted on the cap?
I installed this roof rack on my 2022 tacoma but the wind noise is very loud when the weather is cold/windy at over 60mph in the highway. Should I lower the wind fair to the lowest point and is it OK for the wind fair to touch the roof of the vehicle? Thanks in advance!
Shoot us a dm or email with pictures of your fairing. You should not experience any wind noise! Adjusting the fairing will help.

No it does not, the sunroof will still function just great.

I bought the Teton for my access cab Tacoma. It came with silicone and washers. No oem rubber spacers. So they do believe in silicone despite the video claims.
LoL. I thought they should use silicone and the spacer.
That’s doesn’t make sense. All their racks come with the rubber. Maybe you bought a Prinsu rack.
