API BASE CAMP TREK | API HIMAL | Darchula | BYDATTO3 | Ghumne jodi |

For celebrating Holi 2080, We decided to head for API BASE CAMP situated at Darchula District in Sudur Paschim Province Nepal. This trip took us 8 days in total from Chitwan. This is one of the best treks we have ever made. The road trip, unexplored land escapes, lifestyle and people, everything was so mesmerizing. We highly recommend to all trekking enthusiasts to plan for this trail as we could hardly see any tourists in such an amazing trail.
Our itinerary goes
this way.
Day 1: Chitwan to Dhangadi
Day 2: Dhangadi to Gokuleswor
Day3: Gokuleswor to Makarigadh on jeep and trek for 3-4 hours to reach Ghusa village. This was the toughest among enture trail due to steep path which was no less than a rock climbing. Also it was equally difficult to descend down while returning.
Day 4: Ghusa to Simar ( One can modify this one according time their capacity of walking)
Day 5: Simar to Base Camp and back to Base camp ( This can also be modified and you can stay at Dhauliodar which adds one days but it will be easier if you are a begginner)
Day 6: Simar to Gokuleswor ( if you stayed at Dhauliodar previous day, you can reach to Ghusa or Situ and stay there overnight; We recommend it that way if you are not in rush)
Day 7: Gokuleswor to Nepalgunj
Day 8: Nepalgunj to Chitwan
