For me personally Rammstein is my favourite Album. Maybe it's because I'm german and being able to understand these "nasty" and disturbing lyrics give me a feeling of listening to something forbidden, which is always a thrilling feeling
Rammstein albums are all so similar in overall quality that it's hard to rank them. Even if you read a few of the rankings in the comments, they're all different.
I would probably rank them like this, not saying at all that any of them are bad, I love all of them, although Mutter is without a doubt their best album to date, and Rosenrot is such a highly underated album. 8. Hard to say for me. But I do know LIFAD is the one at the bottom of the list. I loved it when it came out and know it like the back of my hand, but as I got older realized it’s the album I barely ever go back to. That being said I love all their shit
I'm new to Rammstein since i started listening to them in May but i think that LIFAD is a pretty great album. I love songs like Rammlied, Ich Tu Dir Weh, LIFAD and especially Haifisch

This is my opinion, all of the albums have great songs but there is a reason of why in that order: 8. LIFAD - meh, too cheesy. 7. Reise Reise - good but I just don't find a good reason to move it more on top. 6. Herzeleid - powerful shit, poor audio quality, I get it was their first album but that wont't save it from being 6th place. 5. Rammstein - good songs, but as other guy said, wth with the sound compression. 4. Rosenrot - even if this album was the leftovers from Reise Reise, they managed to make a great album that feels sad, dark and mysterious yet comfortable, perfect for listening on rainy days. 3. Zeit - an experienced Rammstein, listening to it makes you feel like you are drinking some fine aged wine, they knew what we wanted and gave it to us, they make you feel how mature they have got with that album. 2. Mutter - no need to explain why, just Rammstein at it's finest there. 1. Sehnsucht - most kickass industrial shit ever. Thank you for reading this far!

Liebe ist für alle da (Many good songs, but songs like Führe mich or Liese can't compete with others) 6. Rosenrot (In my Opinion slightly better than LIFAD, I just like the songs more 5. Reise, Reise (Surprisingly "low", no bad songs, but just not on the same level as the others) 4. Zeit (Deep and harsh combined, very nice) 3. 8. Untitled: The worst sound and such boring first half of album (except for Radio), almost never listen to these songs. Starting from Puppe this album is great almost. Puppe, Was ich liebe, Hallomann are my favourites, really love these things so much. And again, the worst sound, too much compression they added, so it's painful sometimes to listen to this album. Really the worst. Awful. The best songs: Puppe, Was ich liebe, Hallomann The worst songs: Zeig dich, Sex, Ausländer. Deutschland is good but just totally ruined with compression so it's very painful to listen to this. 7. Mutter: It can be the worst and the best at the same time. It's great, it deserves to be on the first place but gets bored extremely quickly. Sonne is an example of perfect Rammstein banger but I can't listen to it on repeat more than 2-3 times. Maybe the problem is about it's too much really bright bangers..... The best songs: Mein Herz brennt, Nebel, Sonne The worst songs: I count Feuer frei as the most awful song of Rammstein ever. Totally boring, nothing to get interested at. 6. Liebe ist für alle da: The most ecletic album, full of very interesting songs, great drum patterns but... Maybe songs in this album are really somehow difficult to fit in the whole discography. But one thing I can say: emotionally this album is not that bright it could be. But anyway, really good one. The best songs: Haifisch, Waidmann's Heil, Mehr. The worst songs: Pussy just doesn't fit the vibe of the whole album but still is a good song. Should be realesed as a single only and on the album be replaced with Gib mir deine Augen. 5. Herzeleid: As hard as stone, simple too. The best album to headbang and free your vulgar demons while getting drunk. I love this dry sound and this strong vocal. But... It still is very simple. At the first sight. The best songs: Seemann, Das alte Leid, Rammstein. The worst songs: Wollt ihr das Bett in Flammen sehen?, Der Meister, Du rieschst so gut. 4. Zeit: It might be better if not OK and Dicke Titten. Not bad songs but they don't fit the whole vibe of this album. And the vibe is melancholy, often thoughts about time's going further and further (not just song Zeit but some other songs too). At the same time they still try to sound like they're not just old men and still very energetic. By the way, after Untitled album they finally realesed album that doesn't sound awful. And bangers are not boring. The best songs: Armee der Tristen, Lügen, Angst, Giftig. The worst songs: OK, Dicke Titten. 3. Reise, Reise: The era they started with slowing down the bpm of their songs and making them somehow ecletic. Every song sounds very different from each other and almost every song is amusive. And the melancholy of Rammstein becomes more obvious with this album. But the formula still is not so perfect, so sometimes album sound patchy for a bit. The best songs: Dalai Lama, Stein um Stein, Amour The worst songs: Moskau, Los 2. Rosenrot: And then it gets perfect. Album constructed with pieces the didn't release at previous albums is incredibly smooth. The most atmospheric one, countinuing the formula of RR with slowing down the BPM but now melancholy becomes very bright. This album gets more bangers after previous one but we remember this one as the slowert and the saddest one. Just because slow and gloomy songs are too powerful. And everytime I can't decide which album must be placed at the first because I love this and the next one in my top equally. The best songs: Spring, Hilf mir, Stirb nicht vor mir, Wo bist du, Feuer and Wasser The worst songs: Benzin, Te quiero Puta! 1. Sehnsucht: The perfect phenomenon of dance metal, also includes some melancholy vibes. The incredible combination of dancing and dreaming. @@felixz.z I can't say I don't like WIDBIFS and BD, they're just the weakest on the albums for me but still not bad. WIDBIFS is just too long and BD is... well, for me Rammstein was more about melancholy than about about drive itself, so BD is rare for me to fit in my mood. But still, this song's not bad, it's great almost sometimes it still can amuse me well. Feuer frei... I already said it's boring for me. Don't know why, just... I just can call so many songs of Rammstein which force me to headbang way better. Asche zu Asche, Laichzeit, as an example, or Rein Raus. I also count Rein Raus as the hardest song ever. Hardest in the way it's just banging. But Feuer frei is not that banging and not as atmospheric as bangers of earlier albums. Just vibeless. So I prefer Junkie XL remix just because it gives some atmospheric vibe to this song so it's not that faceless anymore. And that's just my opinion obviously. I'm sharing this just to make this thread more interesting. And maybe someone will see the whole discography from the new corner. I disagree on some of your opinions (maybe even most, but it's your opinion and i respect it). For example i think Zick Zack is a pretty great song and same with Audländer, but for me it's impossible to put Stein Um Stein as my least favorite song from Reise, Reise. For me it's amazing, relaxing and the solo is just phenomenal. But I agree that Alter Mann is a banger
I wouldn't consider new albums trash, because they imo have amazing songs like Radio, Deutschland, Sex, Diamant, Armee der Tristen, Zick Zack, Zeit, Adieu and the list goes on and on, but i respect your opinion

Dry, "old" sound mixed with EDM synths and samples makes the magic of this album. I don't even know what else to say, it's just great in simplicity which is difficult to make this amusive.

@@felixz.z I can't say I don't like WIDBIFS and BD, they're just the weakest on the albums for me but still not bad. WIDBIFS is just too long and BD is... well, for me Rammstein was more about melancholy than about about drive itself, so BD is rare for me to fit in my mood. But still, this song's not bad, it's great almost sometimes it still can amuse me well. Feuer frei... I already said it's boring for me. Don't know why, just... I just can call so many songs of Rammstein which force me to headbang way better. Asche zu Asche, Laichzeit, as an example, or Rein Raus. I also count Rein Raus as the hardest song ever. Hardest in the way it's just banging. But Feuer frei is not that banging and not as atmospheric as bangers of earlier albums. Just vibeless. So I prefer Junkie XL remix just because it gives some atmospheric vibe to this song so it's not that faceless anymore.
And that's just my opinion obviously. I'm sharing this just to make this thread more interesting. And maybe someone will see the whole discography from the new corner. Because we're all different and everyone's got a different point of view. In the end, there's no any bad albums. For me just Untitled sounds awful just because of poor producing. But still it's got some songs I like no matter what.

I disagree on some of your opinions (maybe even most, but it's your opinion and i respect it). For example i think Zick Zack is a pretty great song and same with Audländer, but for me it's impossible to put Stein Um Stein as my least favorite song from Reise, Reise. For me it's amazing, relaxing and the solo is just phenomenal. But I agree that Alter Mann is a banger
