I cannot imagine the Gazans just forgetting this Genocide. I suspect Israel has created more resistance with this war than Hamas ever had. I suspect unless Israel capitulates to demands for self determination for the Palestinians and Assistance in rebuilding and financial support for decades to come, I suspect Israel has woken up a lion which will do more than growl back. Israel has created their own future. I also think the other Arab Countries will only sit back for so long. Israel should at this stage be very cautious and they should do whatever they can to turn things around.

Hi, it would have been so powerful not to retaliate. The entire world would have been so astonished and admirative for this. Then of course ask for justice before the CPI: actually some Israeli families has just opened a suit, few days ago. Then if your goal is peace and security, you have to speak that language to "the other side". You can't achieve true peace, ie that one which last for ever, with bombs.
Had Israël chosen that path, this could have led to Peace Nobel Prize for that, I'm not joking. Look: instead of getting peace and honors, with the worst path of retaliation that has been choosen, there will be big problems for a long, long, time and a significant probability that Israel will be found guilty of acts of genocide.
