Since the device resets the ship to a state 13 seconds ago instead of rewinding time, it means everything outside the ship still advances in regular time. Something that leaves the ship would still exist outside the ship (whether weapon fire, a transmission, or maybe even teleported crewmates). So does that mean if someone beams off the ship prior to the device's activation, the ship's molecules would reform a version of them that's still on the ship, creating a copy? We'll have to convince them to make a Galaxy Quest II (and make that the plot) to find out, I guess.

Mrs Claus is still in the third "The Santa Clause" movie. She's pregnant with Tim Allen's child.
Also, there is a holiday special, called "The Year Without a Santa Claus" where Mrs. Claus tries to take over from Santa, who tries to cancel Christmas (because he totally has the authority to cancel the celebration of Christ's birth/the winter solstice) because he's tired, and sick, and wants a vacation (as if most of his year isn't already a vacation). The special is most well known for the Miser brothers (Snow Miser and Heat Miser). A clip of Snow Miser appears in the movie "Batman and Robin", where Mr. Freeze is forcing his henchmen to sing the Snow Miser song.

There is also the Whoopi Goldberg Santa Claus movie "Call Me Claus" in which Whoopi becomes Santa. So you have a single female Santa. Who I suppose could eventually meet and marry a "Mr. Clause" if she wanted.

Um, actually, he spends most of the year working on making toys and hasn't had a day off in years. Santa was not cancelling the religious kind of Christmas, but rather the gift-giving bit because in their universe he actually exists and delivers the presents.

Gutes always sits... and lets the other two contestants guess... and then he says the exact right answer (and clearly knows it). So it just takes him a while to retrieve it? Or he likes to watch the others flail? Or - the most badass possibility - he’s such a god at this that he has to show restraint

Um actually, Frost Gigas is actually also called Santa Claus. When you defeat him, he turns back inte the classic Santa Claus. He had been turned into this ice monster by by the Fire Seed (go figure), which he stole in order to grow a giant christmas tree so children would believe him again.

so i love mari lwyd because mari lwyd is a horse skull that visits your home and sings rhymes to get inside your house, and the person who answers the door has to sing back excuses why lwyd can't come in and it just goes back and forth until one gives up. if the person who answered the door gives up, lwyd raids your pantry and drinks all your beer

While I can follow the logic, Australia has a history of not portraying spiders in a kind light, since there are SO many dangerous species down there.
In fact, I'm pretty certain there was a Peppa Pig episode that wasn't allowed to air because it taught kids that "spiders weren't something to fear..." in a country where spiders were ABSOLUTELY something to be scared of

4:20 Oh man, I really want to give you a 10 hour class on the Santa Clause movies now. Mrs. Claus is still very important in the third installment as a way of driving the plot and creating tension, but she isn't in much of it since it's a time travelling movie and a lot of it is spent in an alternate timeline where the protagonist never met her.
