What are You Storing Up? ~ Good News in the Garden ✝️🛐 *351

- Today's parable is about the rich fool ~ Luke 12:16-21. Here Jesus tells how we will lose out if we just store up all our wealth and plan on the good life and don't think of others. That good life can be taken from you in a nanosecond! Keep on praying, my friends, to use your talents and gifts for Him! Don't hesitate to shine His Light or speak His Truths wherever you are led to do so! Anywhere we may find ourselves can be where God wants you to share your bit of harvest with someone else. It's not always physical or monetary ~ I think, often, it is simply sharing the stories others can relate to, to receive hope they are loved and will be forgiven and can receive a fresh start. And there's nothing sweeter than holding Jesus' hand through all of life, especially all of its ups and downs! Hang on, no matter, we are in for a bumpy ride! I sense the birthing pains of the end times slowly surrounding us, rhythms of tense times and then a bit of relief ~ exactly like birthing pains. May God grant you each one much love and peace today and always! Amen!
Today's host are coreopsis, or tickseed, wild bergamot, black-eyed Susan, and a few random bees. I know it is repetitive, but with the drought, not much is showing off right now. I am blessed to have this! Maybe if we an finally get some rain, things will perk up. The soil is so dry it is shrinking up and exposing the roots. And that's with all the watering I am able to do! Yes, just like birthing pains, God is signaling to us and we need to be drawing ever closer to Him ~ with each painful rhythm!
Today's chores are spot watering, as I am very time limited today. I had to replant two plants, one is being dug up and leaving the poor elderberry "twig start" just laying out in the heat. it is indeed suffering! After finding it today for the 2nd time, I dug about five other holes, none very workable. I decided to just use the original spot, and place bricks closely around it to discourage whatever critter is digging there. WHAT are they digging for? Maybe worms or buried treasure. I don't know! But in this heat, the digging and all was torture. The other plant is a cinnamon fern (the "cinnamon" frond that eventually will come up in the middle is used by hummingbirds for nests ~ and some other birds. Where it was at, even though it was watered every day, was rock hard. Go figure! Where it is at now hopefully will be better. I want to give this one to my daughter, but it will have to wait until fall, I think at this point.

I encourage you to listen and, perhaps listen again. I am keeping this one on speed-dial!
Would like to share His Gospel with others? Then I will eagerly support and encourage you! Start by praying and see where you go! Revelations 3:7b, What God opens, no man can shut, and what God closes, no man can open! When we are standing before such a mighty God as this, and His Holy Spirit will be with us, guiding and directing us, we will not fail! Harvesting for God can simply be reading His Holy Word and/or offering personal experiences or wisdom you have learned and earned through your life. Or it could be as creative and imaginative as God sends you ~ maybe even a garage band creating "Garage Gospel"! Remember, benefits are out of this world, in paradise! God bless you, my friend!

Sister we got three drops last night, just a little sprinkle this morning, I will get back to you later, I'm going out to water the grass, some I planted near the front door, the neighbor grandson, use the weed eater on it, it has not rained since and it's dying, ❤️🙏, I will pay attention when I get back
I hope you didn't get too hot out there trying to water. It can be extremely dangerous, really quickly. It is atrocious here, and so dry it is scary. Birthing pains for sure! Have a blessed evening, Norm! How many days now cigarette-free?
