This video shows how to install the GROM VLine VL2 system for CarPlay and Android Auto into Lexus ISF 2008. The same steps and installation apply to the Lexus IS 250 IS 350 ISF 2006-2009.
In this video, we also explain how you can route the main unit inside the glove compartment and mount it there, and how to mount the GPS antenna so it is not visible.
The GROM VLine VL2 system allows the integration of wireless CarPlay and Android Auto into the Lexus IS 250 IS 350 ISF 2006-2009 factory car stereo. It uses an original factory car stereo display and integrates with the stereo buttons and stereo wheel controls.

What is the gps antenna for? Is that necessary for CarPlay gps? I’m guessing no

It is not necessary for CarPlay GPS, however it is recommended as it will help to preserve the phone's battery.

yes you can. You integrate the subs to the factory stereo, as the VLine VL2 / VLite VT2 integrates with the factory car stereo, so all sound gets integrated as well.

Any car stereo shop in your location should be able to perform the installation. Check the shop's reviews and contact them for the install. We recommend scheduling the installation during the weekdays. This way the shop can call us if they will have any questions.
