Emergency Spiral to landing C-150

This is 2nd flight with a new student on my accelerated 2 day, 6 hour Flight,6 hour Ground course, created to offer a boost in Private pilot flight training,
This maneuver started directly overhead the airport,3000 MSL ( 2600 AGL)
Power to idle, 65 MPH airspeed, 20 degree bank, no flaps in the turn.
Rolled out on the downwind at 1500 MSL, added flaps when landing was assured touched down on the 1000' mark.
This student went from zero hours in his logbook, 4 1 1/2 hour back to back flight lessons and ground instruction to landing the plane on day 2.
He drove home with 6 hours in his logbook, very happy.
