Sugar Shane is an awesome guy. I met him when I was a ten-year-old kid along with my cousin and mother at Knott's Berry Farm. The year was 2003. He had just beat Oscar de la Hoya that Fall and my cousin who was in his teens recognized him and asked him for a picture. He was with his wife - she looked Asian - and he was getting ready to get in line for the Xcelarator. He graciously put his arms around my cousin and me and my mother snapped the photo on her one-time-use camera. I was impressed that he was truly for the people. He could have easily walked away.
I remember reading about Mosleys' toxic ex wife back in the day. I remember reading she was even trying to take away Shane championship belts during the divorce proceedings. Unbelievable.
