NEW ZSS TECH DISCOVERED - but is it good?

- A player by the name of @andrewt8166 showcase some potential new tech with Zero Suit Samus and her punish game. I had to check this out myself and see if this is any good, and if I can actually use it in some matches in Elite Smash. Perhaps this might be the tech that may finally change my mind about ZSS?

Very insightful. Definitely agree on his ZSS opinions that he rarely gives genuinely. Really really frustrating to play her on wifi and against players not really thinking. But lord is she fun against the good players.

Ledge slipping is doing a specific input on the ledge to grab the ledge or just drop from an on stage position.
Ledge cancel is when you end a move like ganon down b or palutenas up b right as you fall off the edge. The game starts to end the move as if you were still on stage but the ending animation is canceled by becoming airborne. The resulting loss of endlag means you can act much sooner than would normally be possible.
I greatly appreciate your take on the mechanics of the game and different characters. I watch 99% of your videos anyway, but your content that is "serious" is always super interesting.

I was playing with a couple friends, one who is a lot more casual a player, and I got zss on random and the casual player got worried like “oh not zss she’s busted” and I laughed and told him she sux, proved it in the game by having almost that exact same failed flip kick bury situation you had during the last game except I died for it and we were both so confused as to why the bury didn’t proc, dude was fully out of his move, I think it was brawlers command grab side b, and I just bounced right off him and then got up-b’d for my trouble

Random observation but I realized Marss only likes playing characters that heavily rely on timing their nairs. Zss and Greninja with late/falling nairs, Joker and Captain Falcon with their nair 1 shenanigans, and even Ike relying on hitting certain parts of his nair hitbox. In conclusion, Marss is just different🤷♂️
