It’s sad that Ryan is affected by his age. Age shouldn’t matter on his work and life so much, I hope he gets that one day. Having a midlife crisis is a real hit to you. What he’s dealing with right now reminds me of Joji when he was ending Franku for health and questioning life. Whatever it is we should support Ryan for being himself and giving a shot at many things
It's no so much his actual age in a number, but how he thinks he hasn't been maturing. It's him coming to terms with his mortality and the fact that time isn't stopping. Everything in our lives should be affected intensely by that realization, but in a positive way. Growing appreciation for our life and being inspired to use our time wisely. It's just a harsh truth at first. We all know we are going to die, but it's not until we start to get "older" that we notice how quick it all happens.

But the fact that he didn’t really want to mature much before kinda seems like he wanted to have a young personality.Although in recent years, he’s been trying to look around more and just be a different self-critiquing version of himself as he is now. People lost what purpose they even got into it for so really they want to find something else. It’s just that, he was having higher expectations or himself that shouldn’t be there.
Blanket I feel the thing is that by his age most people are about to or have settled in their lives , however Ryan hasn’t despite most of RHPC . So for his age he feels more and more out of place . With RHCP gone Ryan is most likely questioning if he should quit as well and start to settle . I think he is taking the break to think about quitting CZcams or not , and with RHCP gone , he will have less to worry about .

It sounds hella weird but my life would be so different if Ryan had never made the BgA video. After watching this video when it was originally released, I watched a video of real kpop stars reacting to it. I then checked out that real kpop group’s music and fell in love. Then I started watching/listening to other kpop groups. I got hella into kpop, which led to other Korean music and Korean dramas, etc. Long story short, now I’m going to college to study Korean. Sooo I guess thanks? 감사합니다!

hsshsh yyy I’m going for a bachelors of fine arts, then starting sophomore year I’ll start studying korean language hopefully for a minor at the same time. I’m primarily an art student, but I’d like to work as an artist in Korea for a while after college so I want to learn the language
I got into kpop a few years ago and now I'm learning Korean in college and I'm thinking about studying abroad in Korea for a semester. But that's amazing that you're going to college there, good luck with your studies!

When I first watched this video, I didn't know Korean and I loved the video, I loved everything and the words were so funny to me. Then I started learning Korean for real and I watched this video again. I laughed so hard in the second time because I noticed that the words actually were chosen so cleverly. Like the lyric is "nanın kamcha" which means "I am potato" but in Korean the word "kamcha (potato)" resembles the word "namcha" which means "man". So I noticed that actually David was trying to say "I am man" but he confused it with the word "kamcha" and instead he said "I am potato". This is just an example but when you learn Korean and watch this again, you understand the meaning David was trying to give but he screwed up big time in writing the song with his beginner Korean knowledge. 😂😂 I appreciated this video so much more after this and it is quite cleverly written than I would have guessed it before. So, great job to all of the people who created this video, they were amazing, especially you Ryan!! 😍😍💕💕😘😘

I grew up watching Ryan and he literally introduced me to Kpop(I knew about SNSD, 2NE1, WG but never was a fan) lmao like after the first BgA mv dropped I decided to check K-pop out and 4 years later here I am, I now collect albums, save up for concerts and I'm broke af but nonetheless I'm really thankful to Ryan for helping me find music that has been with me even on dark days!!
I love how I just got into kpop when Ryan (my favourite youtuber) uploaded the bga video... it was meant to be haha

When it was released I really enjoyed it ( still xD) During a break from the Kpop Word Festival ( the famous Dance Cover Contest) back in 2015 they played this song and I laugh really hard, because at that time I didn't really know a lot of kpop songs, except this one! xD I never forget the moment where I rushed to the main hall to listen to this music, because I couldn't believe that you actually had a impact in a real kpop dance cover contest somewhere in Europe where I was. xD I felt so real!
