Learn Nymph Fishing on your own | One Mono Rig To Rule Them All | Episode One - The Rig

I've been thinking for a long time about trying to get better at nymph fishing.
I don't wanna have a whole new set of rod, reel and line. instead want a system that I can easily switch between dry, streamer and nymph and with just one line, rod and reel. This is a system that makes it possible that instead of changing rods and reels, you have a rig system that you can attach to your fly line.
Tight Line Nymphing Formula
24 feet (7,3-10m) - 20 lb Maxima Chameleon (clinch knot to fly line)
2 feet (o,61m) -12 lb Maxima HV (Blood knot)
12” (0,31m) - 12lb Red Amnesia or 12 lb Sufix Neon Fire (Blood knot)
12” (0,31m) - 10lb Gold Stren (Blood knot)
- Tippet Ring (1.5 or 2mm) -
14″ (0,36m) - 1x Rio Two Tone Tippet Material
36″ (0,91m) - 4X Fluorocarbon Tippet
- Tag for upper nymph (Orvis tippet knot)
20″ (0,61m) - 5X Fluorocarbon Tippet
Total Lenght: 10-13 meter

great explaination of the mono rig Magnus. After watching Troutbitten I have said that I will try this (instead of the more common 'French leader') that we normally use. I cannot believe how well you explain this in a second language! Thanks for the video. Tight Lines my friend.

You say it's not your formula, clearly it is not as you've lifted it in every single detail from another channel!
You acknowledge that you're using someone else's formula, why don't you at least give credit to the guys at Troutbitten
(who have a ton of related info on their website). ?
I don't usually comment on videos but this kind of plagiarism really pisses me off

Hello! For sure I can name them but this video is more about how I should learn about the system and try it out. I had a plan for upcoming video to say if I liked it or not and if I don’t like it I don’t want to blame any one for a formula and what they like to do when they fly fish.
