Nobody cares. These prices are dumb...free the middle class!
Dealerships: I don't know why nobody is buying our vehicles.
Also Dealerships: Let's charge $100k+ for a truck!
This is the bosses. It was never meant for us. Side note it is wild how there’s and almost $70k difference in options from base to top luxury level
@@yunghernando3946👍🏻
You do realize individual dealerships have a tiny % of effect on price right? The MANUFACTURER controls invoice, MSRP, etc.
Exactly, I looked at the local Nissan dealer and they had a market adjustment price for all Nissan Titans. Nissan is stopping production because of sales and the local dealer is gouging.
@@BadoreksDailys true
At that price point, they wont sell too many but glad they made this- absolutely beautiful interior.
Agreed. .. Spot on. .. However you would be surprized of the numbers for the highest trim models sold to the dealerships. .. With an impressive $ margin to boot. .. An $80K, say $90K pickup truck? .. What's the world coming to!
@@michaelschneider- As a FCA salesperson, I agree there are a lot of people that will still buy this truck. However, the margins are profit are not high at all. One huge misconception is that you make a ton of money on high dollar new units. You definitely do not. Especially when they put 6-7,000 in rebates.
I would like to see the interior of that truck in 10 yrs, that nice soft touch dash with the fake leather on it may look like alligator skin, (peeling and crunchy) after being in the sun
@@armyboy1207you will starve before you see a lot of 90k purchases
It's a cool truck, and I even don't hate the switch to inline 6 VS the old Hemi. More power and more efficiency is always welcome. It's just a shame that the vast majority of people have been priced out of the new car market, and will likely never get to own one.
Sure they will. Depreciation.
You couldn’t give me a I6 full size truck. Total blah sound and 1000% uninspiring.
lol you say that like never having to own a Chrysler Stellantis Dodge Fiat is a bad thing
@jrparker4804 you should be worrying about reliability a lot more
Why don't you hate it? What business does a twin turbo I6 have doing in a truck?
All the new vehicles have so many awesome features, as a mechanic with 40 years experience I feel sorry for the next mechanics because there will be many nightmare repairs. Simple is better in long term ownership.
Job security!
That's why stripped not equipped is better
This complexity will have people looking for 02 camrys in the future. These new cars are a nightmare for mechanics.
Ill keep my old 2017 Ram, 5.7 Hemi with only 122,000km and has been a great truck and still like new, no issues and i got a good one, no Hemi tick.
Sorry for you, but just wait until around 200k kilometers and you will have your Hemi tick too(with fuel consumption raising year by year): Hemi have a big design camshaft lubrification flawn (I know by experience 😢)
Crap! Way over drama! I owned two hemis. Never a issue and the hemi tick Is a cracked exhaust manifold not cam shafts. Lol. If you got duped into a rebuild by a mechanic shop your the issue not the hemis
Think the technology is getting a little ahead of itself without proving much long term durability. The cost of these trucks keep going up while the engines are getting smaller and more complex without any cuts in pricing. The ability to service your own vehicle is getting more difficult and parts are less accessible or of lower quality. The vehicles look nice, but I can't justify the price for what you get. I generally would give it a few years before considering buying one at a lower price if at all.
Most people these days don't care to service thier own vehichles anyway.
@calebmelton5989 Well, I got an 07 Yukon Denali and had to buy a used rear wiper motor recently because they no longer make them (oem and aftermarket).
Can't imagine the trouble finding and replacing some of these specialized touch screens (new escalade) or electronic parts when they fail years later. Guess you'd be lucky if there's any aftermarket option for them.
Almost two hundred ram/jeep sitting at my local dealer. They’re offering almost $20k discounts on some models.
$10k cash back and zero percent financing are gonna be back by 2025. These $70k pigs are piling up on lots
Not by us. I stuck my head out and looked around...they can keep their overpriced rotting trucks.
Still not a reasonable price
marked up like crazy from the factory and everyone knows it. no thanks, not paying for Stellantis' EV gamble
I got a new 2023 Ram Big Horn with 69 miles for 20k under MSRP once the 2024 trucks hit the lots.
Air suspension.......a must if you want an astronomical repair bill repair bill when, not if, but when they fail. Mercedes, Ram, Lincoln and every tractor trailer you see on the road. They all fail, and a whole sooner than leafs or coils. Jus Sayin.
Didn’t stilantis just layoff a bunch of people and gave its CEO a 20million bonus…
Media only reports on Tesla misfortunes and not legacy auto misfortunes.
@@TheJoncicain’t that the truth
Yep, and the reason why is that is the case definitely should be something TFL should be talking about.
I've heard some bad corporate ideas before, but this one is special in a bad way.
They always give the CEO a bonus when he protects the share price which oftentimes is done by laying off a bunch of people.
@@kabloosh699 sad but true. Also, destructive for the company long term, but that's a whole separate thing.
Why buy that computer to tell you how to drive, just put your wife in the passenger seat. Haha
True 😂
Truth
Yuuup
Now you can have both!!!
🤪
Because the wife is more expensive? 😂
I’ve owned 3 Rams including the 2019 Ram limited which I sold never never would I pay 90k or 80k for a truck never!
I've owned 3 rams as well and loved them! Absolutely agree would never pay that much for these, ridiculous!
im with you. just to damn expensive now.
For 1500 I agree. Almost all 2024s are on sale and you can still find 2022 & 2023 on some lots.
Lol you paid 90K for a truck?
Funny. I said the same thing about buying a $40k truck years ago.
Looks like it could be called the Grand Durango with that front end
Seems like the big 3 are all styling thier trucks after SUVs right now.
Yup it looks nice but shows like an SUV
No bumpers
Except ford tho
@@benjaminbrown7127 Their F150/ 250 are rounding out a bit, but didn't go for the SUV look, however, they ARE going that way with the Ranger and Maverick. I prefer the new Ranger over the last Gen, which was very pro street looking, but I'd still prefer a blocky, masculine look on a truck.
The 2025 Ram 1500 is a very nice looking, powerful and with a luxury interior second to none. The price is far beyond what I would budget for a vehicle but there is no denying it's about as nice as it gets.
Massively overpriced junk for the gullible and wasteful
Ram makes a great interior.
I've seen better in a $60k Nissan Platinum Reserve but I guess if you like a drab grey interior then this one takes the cake.
@@dogg92 😂 you gotta be kissing me
@@getstuk87 Na, I'm good. Appreciate the offer though.
Beautiful, awesome truck. Just to expensive, like all of them now days
Nice review. That parking attendant in the beginning was just a little ray of sunshine wasn't she.
Lol its Detroit
@@exploregeology4650 surprised he wasn’t carjacked..
These are fantastic trucks, love my '21 Bighorn, but most people won't be buying this top trim Tungston, I would love to see a Bighorn 4x4 with the auto drive (if available) reviewed, an upper mid-level truck that most people will buy. Great informative videos as usual guys!
I don’t see why people are so happy to drive a vehicle that drives itself. That's a feature that i would absolutely hate.
Awesome dashboard, like what they did with the transmission and differential controls, beautiful interior!
Great review Andre!
Glad to see the door mounted power seat controls commonly found on early 1990’s Chevy Caprices and Ford Crown Vic’s have returned. Those are great.
Time to get some rec dank Andre
Have to admit, although I am a v8 man, I believe Toyota and Nissan made it abundantly clear, the turbo straight six is the closest thing to a perfect engine. Really wish GM would have done it in their previous Trailblazer SS.
Great job Andre!!!
Wish it would’ve been a complete refresh with a new exterior.
But then it wouldn't be a proper margin-maxxing cash cow, making up for Stellantis' terrible decision to all-in EVs.
You are correct about the stacks Andre, I’m an owner of a 1979 Dodge Lil Red Express
The base SST would be a great power train on the wrangler unlimited
Looking forward to watching , thanks, have a Blessed Day!
The little red express truck was the fastest vehicle you could buy, even faster than a corvette.
Hahahahaha
Trucks didn't have to meet as strict emissions regulations as cars did so it's 360 produced more power than the 360 in say, a Dodge Aspen R/T or Chrysler Cordoba.
@@user-pgchargerse71 It was the 360 police interceptor motor
@@Policearegood-mt6kx he is telling the truth

Looks great
Grew up in MI, now live in NY. Hearing those freeze/thaw expansion joints really brought back some memories. 😄 Winters are super hard on the roads so they need big expansion joints there.
Michigan doesn’t spend much money on their roads anyway
@@pathunter7003You’re basing this on what? You obviously don’t live in Michigan - dang near every major freeway is being worked on, especially in the SE area of the state. I’m not just talking about repaving, but entire reconstruction.
Congratulations Andre and thank's by your trim and excellent review.
impossible not to bring back my memories
BIG HUG from CDMX, México! 😮
wow, it's like they read my mind... I need a truck with MORE sensors.
That is one good looking truck on the inside specially.
Just towed my camper with GM super cruise, works fabulous.
enjoyed seeing the new powerful Ram truck. This brought back a lot of memories. I bought a new 1978 Lil Red Express. and had a silver regular cab SRT10 Ram. i miss both trucks a lot.
For whom willing to buy/prefer the V8 Hemi: Hemi have a big camshaft lubrification design flawn (I know by experience 😢). So, around 200k kilometers Hemi tick start to occurr with fuel consumption raising year by year…
Nice looking whip!
That silver reflection off of the red PW 😊
Looks like the new truck that comes out tomorrow 🤠
We can absolutely hear the expansion joints.
That is one nice ride!
Great podcast Andre!!
Grand Wagoner Tungsten! I love it!
It's nice to see my neighborhood in the video. Btw on 94 there are always a bunch of deer hanging around lol
On the trailer break gain. Mine has a function up and down on the steering wheel.
Where's the midsized trucks?

Toyota, Ford, Nissan, and I suppose Honda.

My local dealer has the new ‘25MY’s for almost $9,500 off (unconditional dealer discount), and they just landed on dealer lots this month…
It’s a gorgeous pickup 🤠
I just picked up a 23 Ram Classic regular cab 4x4 with the 5.7 and 8ft box. 47k Cdn with tax.
The salesman said, No one is buying high end Rams or Jeeps because of the price gouging from Stellantis!
He even said dealers up here are refusing new models because their lots are full with 22 & 23 models and they can't sell.
You are telling me that for that price, there are features it doesn't have? 😂
At that price every option should come with it.
I’m drawn to that truck too. I started driving in 1978.
I would like to get a ‘74 truck, that was my first truck. Very hard to find in decent condition, they didn’t make that big of a volume of trucks back then and few survived
Adjusting for inflation that 1954 Power Wagon would be $14,500 today😮. And the little red express would be only $22,500.Yes please!
This would be a great lease vehicle provided there will be good leasing programs.
Super nice..I'd love to have one of these. But there is absolutely no way with that price tag lol.
@35:09 you can see the reflection of the RHO in the power wagon
To tell how accurately you are centered in your lane look at the lane markers in both side view mirrors. If the mirrors show the markers are equal distance from your vehicle you are centered.
Beautiful truck, awesome interior. If I had the money I’d consider it along side a sierra Denali ultimate but maybe in a few years when we know about any gremlins in that hurricane engine.
When are we gonna hear more specifics on the RHO? Waiting to see how much they down graded the truck?
I know the transmission has been downgraded, but frankly, the SST HO does not need the torque capacity of the 6.2L SC. But, what about brakes? Will it still have the 18” rims with 325mm wide tires.
If too many downgrades, will be buying my 1st F-150 (Raptor). But, really enjoyed my past Rams. Fingers crossed they kept everything but the drivetrain from the TRX.
Oh wow! you were right by me! Heck, are you still out this way? I CDL-catered to international planes here, crazy to see familiar areas in a video!
Got a low mile 2nd gen 4.0 tacoma trd off road with low miles if you wanted to see one (as if the millions out west weren't enough)
At the end of the video, he went into other trucks. Ram M80 concept, I wished they made a hybrid of that mid size truck. They made the Dodge Nitro SUV. But they needed it to also be a pickup. M80 or Nitro nose mid size pickup. What is missing is a 4cyl economy small pickup similar to 1st gen Dodge Dakota with optional 8ft bed. Ford Maverick hybrid pickup needs a workman's standard cab long bed. Some auto manufacture needs to bring back 2dr standard cab with 8ft box. I wonder if the 3.6L will be offered as a hybrid so low end torque is handled by the electric motor. Any snap acceleration would be handled by the electric motor. While the 3.6L can do the maintaining of speed. I wonder if they should turbo the 3.6L for those who travel in higher altitudes. Mild boost.
We definitely hear it In Your mic
Love Ram trucks. If and when I need to get a new truck I will stick with Ram, but I’m eyeing the Toyota Tacoma Trailhunter because it has that off road look that I like. Even though the Hemi V8 is gone, twin turbo V6 standard is pretty powerful compared to the current V8. I wouldn’t need the high output, not a gas saver because of having to use a higher octane. Still a awesome truck
I love the new styling. I also wish I could afford it.
Ike gauntlet for that HO SST. That would be interesting at 80 degrees.
🔥Thanks Andre and Ian..Love the Morning Coffee Entertainment 😁..Have GOOD Week Ahead everyone ✌️
Thank you for the kind words.
Yay a nice truck only the super rich will be able to afford! As for me i personally will say so not get the one with the big screen! I have seen plenty of issues with the modules that control the screen freezing, getting an improper update it showing response time! The more technology these vehicles get the more room for error when it comes to software getting screwed up! Any ways id steer clear of that big screen! But i so like the additional cameras on the trailer
Great styling.
Oh and ive done a windshield on one of those lil red express trucks ...awesome truck but man replacing that windshield was a nigbtmare lol
Biggest complaint of my grand Wagoneer (other than the 7 times it’s been to the dealer for repairs) is the tire noise coming through. I have a 23 series 3 obsidian and on blacktop it’s perfect super quiet but on concrete roads it’s very intrusive. As stated in this video, the expansion joints are heard but worse, felt clearly in the cabin - not something I’m particularly happy about after writing a check (after a decent dealer discount) for $105k
We have the passenger screen in our 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4xe, and we love how the passenger can enter navigation directions and send it to the center screen for the driver while driving down the road.
Come on Andre!! Find a way to convince Ram to give you early access to the RamCharger for some Ike Gauntlet testing!!
18:44 where are the separate amber turn signals like proper tailllights have?
First off, welcome to Michigan sir! As a Ram owner I would like to say, as much as I like the truck I don’t like hearing the price and the fact that it still isn’t loaded to the top for that amount of money.
Did they add guide lines for the front camera view?
I did not expect the Dodge M80 to be that small 🤣🤣🤣 in pictures it looks like a full size truck omg 🤣🤣
Nice haircut! Lol. When my 4xe Wrangler comes off lease in 18 months I will have some good choices! Hands free is a must.
You guys should have a “cruise off”. Compare each manufactures autonomous cruise system through a series of tests establishing which one is the best at recognizing hazards, least hands on needed, best while towing, etc.
Do you know why granite crystal and the Forged blue are unavailable on a new truck if it's a listed color?
Is that a flip over tonneau cover? Also, I can’t imagine the secondary cost of owning one of those things.
The new 2025 has a beautiful Interior, the bodywork is a nice update although for my tastes it doesn’t grab me. The nose just doesn’t look "Truck", looks more SUV or Van. Several new styles don’t have the desired look. My Jeep Grand Cherokee has the Air lift suspension… it’s gone out 3x over 12 yrs, normally during a cold Winter period.
Great looking, specs show powerful engine but no sound of V8… lot of nice features!
I'm genuinely curious as to which market buys this. I know plenty that would spend 90k on a truck, but at that price it would need 3/4 ton diesel capability.
Just what america needs a $90K hands free self driving mopar P/U.
Badass truck
That’s the fastest truck on the market right now
I can drive hands free too… with my knees
I have never been in a vehicle where you couldnt hear expansion joints or some road noise. Maybe a rolls royce? I have had man mercedes and lexus and i have always heard noise. I have a 2022 laramie ram and its very quiet. Your in a moving vehicle where road condition dictate the noise levels. Its also Andre so i understand.
It's a shame that the self driving function won't help the blind or senior citizens. If I had set GPS to take me to the hospital and the system detects that I pass out does it just stop the self driving? Does it pull over so I can die at the side of the road? I would like my 85 year old dad to have the self driving but it is a useless feature if he isn't 100% capable to drive. I won't pay for that feature for myself since I can't see trying to pay close attention to something I am not doing. I like everything else though except for the skylight and the 5ft box. I need an 8ft or at least 6.4ft box. The high octane fuel would be hard to afford. Love the Ram box. Wish it was called Dodge still. I have a 2 year old Ram Hemi so I will have to wait 4 more years to buy another. Good presentation.
When will the will the tungsten be scheduled to build?
I can definitely here when you're driving over expansion joints. And you're right, for 90,000 it should be a lot quieter. It's definitely not worth that price but i still prefer ram for riding with family vs the f250 at least. I think the f150 wasn't so bad. I drive both constantly. Still haven't driving a Chevy.
Remember, it’s a truck..with a big price is all
My father had a '78 Dodge W250. I remember the Lil' Red Express, 10-year-old me loved that truck and wished we had that one instead. Also the 360 of the era was all about torque, not top-end power.
Must be a glitch with the Rambox . My 2020 locks and unlocks with the doors. Rambox’s are great all my tie downs ,trailer hitches, wrenches are easy access and not cluttering up the cab. It is a deal breaker for me trying to by another brand new.
Nice coverage Andre. Please start reviewing and comparing baseline trucks. I don’t like only being reminded how much I cannot afford things at the top end.
Over $90,000! Seriously? You can fit 6 lawyers or doctors in that truck!
Wow Wow big Truck Lots af Money
Can never get a straight answer on the tow capacity of the 25’ Tungsten. Anyone know it? I see 11,580 “for 1500 models” but not the specifics for the Tungsten.
I am really excited about the new Straight Six engine. I finally make 6 figures and I still cannot afford the prices of new vehicles now. I guess buying replacement parts will be the wisest expense.
Because of what new trucks cost now, I'm most likely keeping my 2017 Ram1500 until I die. I've had zero problems with my 5.7L hemi that gets 22 MPGs on the highway.
Take care with oil change, avoiding doing Iddle with it: Hemi have a big design camshaft lubrification flawn (I know by experience 😢) Around 200k kilometers and you may have Hemi tick (with fuel consumption raising year by year).
I'm a Dodge/Ram fan love them, but for the price point won't be picking one up anytime soon
And what about the MPH!? Or is that under embargo too?
