Wimpey hobbs used one of these as a breakdown truck to tow in broken down tippers. Awesome sound when you see it towing a tipper. A real shame leyland stopped making trucks. Because they drove very well. And looked good still impressive today.😁❤
When I lay in bed at night, I could always tell when a roadtrain went past on the motorway with the distinctive howl. They were strange things Roadtrains, ugly things but also weirdly nice at the same time.
