And once Jessica saw that her spouse was unable to move, she rushed to the bedroom.

Cheaters are cocky they can keep the secret. Deceit never helps marriages or relationships for that matter.

A logical reason (based on vocabulary definitions), would be that she wasn't really satisfied with his husband, perhaps because she prioritized superficial things and sexual experiences over human values and commitment to the husband.
Another would be that she only had him as a tool for herself, making any feelings she seemingly had for her husband devoid of meaning. In other words, she might've only wanted to please herself all along.
