  • How does Christ save the humanity through His Incarnation?
n the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, One God. Amen.
How does the Lord Jesus Christ’s incarnation save the human being? How is it that somehow we as humans are saved because of the Lord’s becoming man and sharing in our human condition. If you have watched our previous video which was the first of this series on Salvation, you know that we’ve spoken about the mystery surrounding God’s divine economy of salvation. We’ve also spoken how there is no one single event in the Life of Christ that is responsible for our salvation, but rather the culmination of the entirety of the Christ’s life that brings healing and restoration to humanity’s fallen condition.

As a westerner im realizing that the gospel ive been taught as a child is heresy. Im sooooo loving the orthadox view on incarnational salvation and your views on other topics such as hell. Again.....east and west are night and day

❤❤. The western mind is I need to understand,,the Eastern mind is there is room for mystery. The mind of Christ is never confused so lets pray and seek God if we are unsure. Blessing to everyone.

@@caudillohispanista8988 You must be one of those very spiritual Christian with a lot of tolerance calling others fools when they have real questions and they challenge you. My questions remain and you are too incompetent and unable to answer or fully understand my question.

There are various reason for this. I'm not that good in symbolism so I'll give you some more obvious reasons I can see.
I guess that you can say it is something which is connected to Christian culture. The priest has a role of authority and teaching. Having long beard is an image of wisdom and masculinity/patriarchy so your priest, your spiritual father, will inspire a certain respect, a certain authority. The big cross is again an element of preaching Christ and His sacrifice for us (compare this with having small crosses which don't even have Christ on them and looks more as a jewel than anything else). Also having a beard shows that your focus is not on this world and the fashion in this world but on God (you won't see priests putting ribbons to their beards or doing any kind of special things with it except keeping it straight).
Personally, I prefer Orthodox priests and bishops because they look a little out of this world. Having that long, black piece of clothing, long beard, huge cross inspires to me more authority and wisdom comparing with the case when I see someone shaved and dressed in a suit. For example, I feel more respect for someone like Padre Pio than for Pope Francis or any other bishop/cardinal/pope shaved.

@@sfappetrupavelandrei also Jesus Christ Himself had a beard. Another reason Christians keep beards is because our Lord had one and we want to walk in His path also, both physically and spiritually.

This guy is more confused in his second video than he was in the first. He keeps saying this is what orthodoxy believes. It doesn’t matter what orthodoxy believes. What matters is what does scripture teach in regards to salvation. This guy does not understand the biblical gospel message.
