I found a house I really like for lass than a million but still couldn’t afford it. It was a house on a hill with woods around it then beyond that was a big trailer park. (probably why it was cheap even though the house is a McMansion) I liked that the trailer park was there it would make me feel like Dracula living in a castle on a hill surrounded by peasants.
It wasn’t until around 10:25 that I realized how right nick is about houses, I don’t give a shit about houses I could live in a box for all I care, but that is a nice ass house, I’d actually plan to live my life there and care about it if I was there. Also I’m from bumfuck Louisiana but when I went to Connecticut to visit I was genuinely in awe at how beautiful some of the houses were, on hills, giant houses, always stone/brick paths with giant stone cliffs by the roads. Seems quiet enough out there but remember this if you’re from the south, nowhere else’s food will be as good as where you’re from, Connecticut wasn’t horrible but Jesus Christ the food in Vegas (I went for the first time to the west side a couple weeks ago) tastes almost fake, and I’m not a super spicy dude, but man the food wasn’t good at all I had to thank god for a minute when I got some good cfa in the Dallas airport coming back
Once you get passed New Mexico. Since New Mexico has enchiladas and puts Hatch chiles on everything. But Arizona doesnt have a cuisine. I just ate Fat burgers the entire time I was there last. But when the mob owned Vegas they had food and nice restaurants. Vegas is dead and the mob sold it to the Mormons. I would just back pack in beans and rice and make Santa Fe bowls. Some places are so remote your best bet is backpacking in camping food. One of the places you missed out on, you'd need a time machine to get to, was there was a steak restaurant on one of the upper floors of the Circus Circus nobody knew was even up there, by a keno hall attached to some crumby buffet old people would hang out at. But the steak house was dark and filled with clowns and empty and they used to give you a surf and turf with a bake potato for a dollar. That place was like walking into a different dimension. I got the vibe I shouldnt be there or know it exists and somebody might catch on I found it and bust me. Real interesting vibes.
You can cook good food anywhere. There is no shortage of ingredients or shipping. If you live in a mansion like that you can afford a personal chef too lmao. What's that like 150$ a day?

Sam and Nick together is quickly becoming legendary, anyone who is not subbed to MDE is missing out big time. These clips are such a small part of it and hardly do their show justice. Nick is ridiculously funny and Sam's humor is so random and perfect. I hope these two continue down this road.
That second house looks like an average house that all of our oligarchs own outside of cities (one out of dozens), you know like a summer house where they can retreat to after making one fucked up decision after another so they don't get lynched immediately. Love those, they always look cool and make me feel good because I know my taxes probably contributed to one of those.
As a current Painter that's horrible. Brick is always more valuable as BRICK, it trashes any value to paint brick most of the time. Doesn't matter how good it looks.
@@TozWozEar Also a house painter, can't speak for the comment about painting brick devaluing a house, but it definitely can come out looking nice, or if you want to stick to the original usually we would just powerwash it. There's a certain charm to the original brick surfacing, kind of retro (on older homes).
14:36 drop ceilings are a blessing in disguise. fantastic for general maintenance. fixing pipes, moving pipes, electrical, running ethernet, etc, etc, etc. any contractor coming in to do a big job will thank you. they come in other colors/ textures if white isn't your thing, also.
That living room is the best finish ive ever seen, the guys who built that don't play around. Probably some 49 year old ex-furniture builders that now do custom work for 400$/h. They really fucked up the man cave and pool but Nick is probably spot on, waited with it to the end and the money was gone.
Hot take here. 🔥 liner pools are probably the best pools to have maintenance wise. Resurfacing a concrete pool is a fortune as is a fiberglass pool. And sometimes the fiberglass ones pop outta the ground with the concrete an all when you drain em. New liner a couple of 3-5 gs... brand new, and you can patch them. Just an opinion but I think a saltwater liner pool is the way to go. Also Rhode island Connecticut aside if your a philly guy with some scratch you could score a pretty fat home in ivyland for around a milli

There are some great houses in these eastern burbs. A lot of them actually went down in price or didn't go up nearly as much as areas closer to the city. Used to be people would commute more, now everyone rightly so wants to live 20min from work rather than an hour.
I there a method for fan submissions? I found a $200,000 garage in Rochester NH that doesn't come with a house. It's literally just a stand alone car garage with no toilet or anything. I want to hear what Nick has to say about it.
