▶ Technique: Swipe
▶ Canvas size: 16 x16 inch
▶ Pouring Medium formula: My paints are mixed with a pouring medium using Floetrol/Owatrol (1:3 Paint: Pouring Medium) with just a dash of water to make it slightly more fluid.
▶ Color Palette:
Amsterdam: Lamp Black (Base)
Amsterdam Pearlescent: Pearl White, Pearl Yellow, Pearl Red, Pearl Blue, Pearl Violet, Pearl Green
▶ Hair dryer: Remington D3010 and always use the cool setting

Btw, I’m curious how these paints would work in a dutch pour. Have you tried it? I’m afraid they may get lost. I would use a black base for any technique with these paints of coarse, but what do you think?

Mark, Absolutely gorgeous. I love the design you have come up with. It is really beautiful. Now I know you mention using a dark background. Have you ever tested the paints on a light background? Do they show up at all? I know how vibrant they are when you paint them on black; however, I was just curious what they may look like on a white background -- would they be pastel? Thanks for all the information and detail you always provide. Denise ❤
Thank you so much my friend. Pearlescent paints won’t work in lighter backgrounds. The paint only works on dark backgrounds as it needs the light to bounce from the surface and through the paint where it was almost like reflective particles as part of its structure. 🙏😊
